Description: Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.

Fried Hogfish - never had it, but was described as light, delicate and flakey. I went for it and loved it. This restaurant is not fancy, but it was a great choice. For starters, the salad, was well chilled and served on a chilled plate, and was fantastic. The server was admittedly new, but did a great job and was... More

We received the best service here! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the food is just phenomenal!! Don't get too full for the deep dish key lime pie! Our taste buds will never be the same!

6 guys went looking for a good lunch on rainy day and stumbled upon Ma's. Every meal was very good, really good clam chowder and the best fish tacos we ever had. Will go back next trip down.

We dined at Ma's thrice while in Islamorada and were not disappointed. Their cuisine easily rivals much of that found up north!

We ordered a Key Lime Pie and all of us thought it was the best we'd ever had in the Keys - and our group has been coming here for several years and we all love desserts. The meringue was very thick, the key lime was just perfect - not too tart - with a wonderful crust. Although the pie... More

Ma's fish is really very good.. Service was good not great.. But friendly on a crowded monday night...prices are very reasonable in an area where everything is over the top.. Baja tacos were huge, crunchy, fresh and delicious.. No salsa was weird until you bit in and then you realized they were perfect as presented.. The gumbo was awesome ,... More

I had dinner here two of the nights I was down in the keys. The food was excellent and the desserts to die for. The one day was great the other day was okay, but the server was new.

Stopped here one night for dinner. The appetizer of BBQ shrimp was great. It had a great different tangy flavor. I had the fried scallops and they were very good. They were cooked just right and didn't have a lot of thick overpowering batter. My husband had the fried shrimp which he really enjoyed. We also had the key lime... More

Stopped at Ma's for lunch and twice for dessert; the service was exceptional in both promptness and suggestions; we had the grilled fish tacos and Angler Platter of fried fish and scallops. Tacos were fresh and delicious. The scallops were the best I have ever had with enough breading to cling but not to clump. With beer and a tip,... More

Stopped in on the spur of the moment on a Tuesday night and it was serendipitous! Waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and sweet. Started with coconut shrimp which accompanied by a coconut curry dipping sauce I'd never seen served elsewhere in the Keys. Shrimp were large, tender, and perfectly cooked with a crisp batter you knew was freshly made. The fish... More
