Description: Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.

Based on TA reviews we stopped here for lunch on our way to a few days' stay on Long Key. Nice people, good service, great food. I ordered the fish tacos - 3 tacos filled with either fried or grilled mahi-mahi, lettuce, tomatoes and fresh-grated cheese in a taco. They tasted REALLY fresh and I snarfed them all down. Hubby... We stopped at Ma's Fish Camp for lunch on the way out of the keys. Fish tacos were great with large perfectly cooked bites of fish. I was a bit nervous when my son ordered a burger from the kiddie menu. I expected a processed frozen nondescript commercial patty. Instead he was served a hand-made thick burger that was freshly... No joke!! We are staying at the Cheeca Lodge and.Came upon this place which is a 5 minute walk from the resort....The food is all homemade including all the pies and desserts... We will DEFINATELY be going back before we leave. Our waitress was absolutely amazing...... You have to go and check it out....

Small, fairly noisy, very busy restaurant with outstanding food. Had the chef prepare fish we caught that day ($16 per person) with sides, vegetables which were great - green beans and a mix of zucchini, onions, mushrooms. Conch chowder very good, cracked conch just average - no flavor. Chef chose fish preparation of snapper which was done 2 different ways;... More

Barbara's desserts are to die for! Shrimp Scampi, shrimp and grits, you name it it's the best! Ask for Michela to wait on you. You won't be sorry! Be careful, she'll probably overserve you.

Initially we went in to try the key lime pie, however looking over the menu we decided to eat lunch here too. The chowder and the fish sandwich were awesome and the size was just as good. The key lime pie did not disappoint and we will definitely come back if we are in the keys again!

This place was nice and clean. Impressive menu! We were waited on by the owner. She was a lovely person...hardworking and kind. We had to take a picture of our food...it was fabulous. I had fried shrimp and it was out of this world. Oh the pie....you must try the Key Lime Pie. It was absolutely wonderful! This is a... More

We have been eating at Ma's since it first opened and it never fails to deliver. The owner Mike, an accomplished chef and former fishing guide, cooks the best fish available in Islamorada. The food is exceptional value for money and the wine is well priced. If you want to find a Key's gem look for where the locals eat... More

We visited Ma's for dinner on our first night in Islamorada, and had a great experience. The food was really thoughtful - the conch fritters and shrimp & grits are must try! Everyone on the staff here was wonderful as well - the service was top notch, and people were genuinely lovely to talk to. We came back for dinner... More
