Description: Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.

Food is good, but the strawberry key lime pie is to kill for. It is big enough to share and is very refreshing.

The outside is rustic but inside it is a jem. I am a food snob and also a published food author. I ordered a scallop dish with scallops at least 2-3 inches tall and as tender and fresh as can be. My husband ordered a special shrimp dish. The coleslaw was completely homemade and by a simple taste it is... More

The food was good but not overly impressive. Prices were reasonable bit portions were on the small side. Shrimp and grits were good as was the catch of the day

We stopped at the restaurant for a quick bite on our way out of the Keys. I am not a big fan of fry food, but my kids truly enjoyed the coconut shrimp and chicken fingers. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi with yellow rice, and grilled veggies... my dish was absolutely delicious, fresh and filling! I will certainly come... More

After reading the reviews I expected a really great meal with excellent service. I have cooked professionally but I am not a food snob...I know good food when I taste it though. The food was slightly above average but the service lacked greatly. There was no tables open when we got there so we sat at this little so called... More

Again, slightly pricey but for the area and the keys, it is not overly pricey. My party had the swordfish (blackened and they said it was good, not great but good) and the shrimp platter (one fried, one grilled and one blackened) and all said it was really good. Platter is 8 shrimp, the basket is 6 shrimp if you... More

Our last evening on the Keys couldn't have been more successful. The service was excellent and the food even better. Good food, big portions. Our son was the only one to have a dessert, a Key Lime Pie. ....he was allowed to lick the plate :) THANKS!!

Food was great and well priced. The cakes and pies are out of this world. The hummingbird cake is so good that we stopped on the way back to the main land and picked up a piece to bring home. Only thing about this place is that it gets busy, staff is good but sometimes slow so just be prepared... More

Not many words can explain the food at this place. Outstanding. You won't expect it, looks very, very casual. Not on the water but food was amazing. Must stop for dinner. We were told about this place from a local, and it was right on.

Our first night on the Keys and what a treat! Best coconut shrimp ever, the curry sauce on the side is unbelievable. We each ordered grouper, one in a lemon caper butter, one with fresh tomato, avocado and cilantro. Both were delicious. The cheese grits were also fantastic. Couldn't leave without a slice of key lime, one of the best... More
