Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.

Don't Forget Dessert

Ma's Fish Camp is mainly a hot dinner spot, but don't overlook lunch (only on Saturday and Sunday during the summer). And especially, don't overlook dessert - Ma's has one of the Key Lime Pies most cherished by locals. In fact, it's so good, there are two versions of it, the "classic" with a... read more

Two years ago while we were in Islamorada for our 20th anniversary we had lunch at Ma's Fish Camp (they are only open for lunch Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon during the summer) so when we left Marathon yesterday we stopped here for lunch. Once again I had the Baja Fish Tacos which were excellent. My only suggestion would... More

Don't waste any time on the fish tacos. But the grits are the best I've ever had, I had them bring out another side of them. Delicious cheese grits with corn and a killer chipotle adobo cream sauce. Definitely must have again!

We went on a Friday night to Ma's Fish Camp and wasn't really sure what to expect from other reviews...one review said it was a fancy restaurant, some said not great service. We were met by a lovely hostess, very welcoming...a real sweetie. Well it is definitely not a fancy restaurant ...it doesn't pretend to be and the server we... More

I had the shrimp which was very good, my wife had the swordfish special which was bland and tasteless. Our cracked conk appetizer was good, not great. Expected more of a local atmosphere. Had better meals elsewhere.

The name is deceiving. I've been patronizing fish camps for years across several states, so I thought Ma's would be similar: casual, paper towels on the tables and eating with your fingers. Not so....this place is pretty swank. I was a bit intimidated when I walked in in shorts and flip flops, but most other patrons were dressed similarly so.... More

Food was good but service was absolutely awful. She never checked on us once, not to refill drinks or check on our food. It took forever to get a check as she stood around waiting for tables to come in. I won't be going back!

This is not a "fish camp" this is a very nice (read fancy) restaurant. As such, it's a little slower paced than your average restaurant. However the foods were amazing. Especially the desserts. Check out the hummingbird cake and of course the original key lime pie!

The event planners from Morada Bay recommended I contact, Barbara, at Ma's Fish Camp to order a special birthday cake and cupcakes. She went above and beyond to please us. The cake was awesome and a piece of art. The kids loved the cupcakes. The next time we will go there to eat.

Overall the service was great and the food was of good quality. We gave it a 3 for the following reasons: the seafood pasta was 18 dollars and only came w.2 scallops. The 2 scallops were delicious and well prepared.. just wish there were more than 2 for the price. The fish camp chicken was very spicy and it was... More
