This is more a heads up than a review. I was so bummed to see the Islamorada Gourmet boarded up with a for sale sign on the door until a local told me they moved. Right across the street!. And the new location is beautiful. Same great coffee and food.

We arrived in Islamorada at 6 one evening and tried to find a restaurant for a light meal. Someone we knew suggested Bayside Gourmet, and they let us order off the luncheon menu because we were not very hungry. The food was very good, as was the service. We went back a second time and found the same good food... More

Used to be called the village Gourmet now called Bayside Gourmet, it's great to have this restaurant back just across the road from its previous location. Great food at very fair prices served with a smile. Awaiting its new liqueur licence it's still very much worth a visit as the food is very well presented and delicious. So glad this... More

I found out this week that Dave, the owner of the Village Gourmet is opening a new restaurant, directly across the street from where Village used to be. There was some kind of shenanigans with the last landlord. So, Dave did what he does best apparently and survived. Not only survived, but is moving to a bigger and better place.... More

Stopped in for lunch with family. Sandwiches were delicious. Chicken salad was great. The cheesesteak was given a thumbs up by the kids. Coffe was great. Service was as good as it gets. Sat outside on patio. Nice atmosphere. Would and probably will return.

--great food selection and nice patio to accent the quality. The wines by the glass and the coffee exceed expectation. Always pleasant, welcoming service, as well.

This place was my favorite restuarant south of Miami! It's closed and I wish I knew what happened or if they had another place around. The pasta and salads were to die for. Breakfast was a tradition for us. What happened?
