Description: In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack...
In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack "somewhere on A1A." A true conch atmosphere with many tasty delights, here in this Florida Keys restaurant you'll find yourself indulged in the Caribbean-inspired cuisine, the compassionate people and old Keys tranquility that is the Hungry Tarpon restaurant in Islamorada. The building has been standing since 1947 and with a home like Robbie's of Islamorada, plus a fascinating history, it all makes the Hungry Tarpon a part of the tradition since 1976. Enjoy dining on our bayside deck with tiki torches lighting up the night. Relax with friends over our fabulous appetizers and watch the boats come and go. Stroll our open air shops then wander to our sandy beach, melt into one of our bayside lounge chairs and let the sea air wash away the rush of the day.

Fun place

We had an enjoyable early dinner here watching all the people and relaxing. Food is fine, prices are good, drinks are better.

Local "dive" type restaurant with a great water view and good food. Good portions, quality and price. Right on the water. Watch people feed the tarpon (or feed them yourself).

We had gone on the morning 1/2 day fishing trip and decided to bring our catch of schoolmaster bass to be grilled for a fresh fish lunch. My daughter had a grilled chicken sandwich. Our meals were terrific and the sides of sweet potato fries, salad, and regular fries were great. The portions are good. We had seating by the... More

We stopped in during off hours to get an appetizer & really enjoyed the local Islamorada Citrus Beer ($6) & fish dip. It's a fun atmosphere and good place to sneak a peek at huge tarpon & the catch from the returning fishing boats. The servers were attentive. It's a nice place to visit.

Stopped here primarily to feed the fish at Robbie's, but decided to grab a bite. My son and I had an excellent meal. We were going to have a lengthy wait, but the manager allowed my son (14) and me to sit at the bar, which was empty in the early afternoon. The bartender did a fine job waiting on... More

This place is vintage Florida Keys. Fish dip was great, Shrimp Po Boy was....just eh. Definitely stop at Robbie's to feed the tarpon and grab a few beers and some apps here....

Server was nice, but the food took forever. We were literally there for over an hour before we got out food. Menu was pretty limited I thought. Lunch menu looks better than the dinner menu. Prices were high for what we got, but the food was good. I was really disappointed that our family with small kids was seated in... More

I am sorry you found your seating area uncomfortable. We have a large dining room and you are welcome to request any table you'd like, although we try to give our customers the table that requires the least amount of a waiting time for them. We have a great lunch, breakfast and dinner menu and we are currently adding changes... More

For the past 10 years, my husband and I have regularly come down to Islamorada, even just for day trips if not overnight stays, whenever we possibly can. Robbie's and the Hungry Tarpon are ALWAYS our #1 stop. We always go straight there for breakfast or lunch upon our arrival to Islamorada. However, it's been over a year since we've... More

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback. During the summer the restaurant does get very busy and we try to seat customers at first available spots. The staff is trained to allow customers to sit in a preferred area, if they don't mind waiting for it to become available. I will make sure I speak with... More

We were at Robbie's for the sunset catamaran cruise (great!) and afterward we decided to eat there at Robbie's. We ordered the grilled fish tacos and fried shrimp tacos and both were superb but the black beans and rice are what I will be hankering for until my next trip. Great food, great scenery, friendly staff. Don't miss it!
