Description: In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack...
In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack "somewhere on A1A." A true conch atmosphere with many tasty delights, here in this Florida Keys restaurant you'll find yourself indulged in the Caribbean-inspired cuisine, the compassionate people and old Keys tranquility that is the Hungry Tarpon restaurant in Islamorada. The building has been standing since 1947 and with a home like Robbie's of Islamorada, plus a fascinating history, it all makes the Hungry Tarpon a part of the tradition since 1976. Enjoy dining on our bayside deck with tiki torches lighting up the night. Relax with friends over our fabulous appetizers and watch the boats come and go. Stroll our open air shops then wander to our sandy beach, melt into one of our bayside lounge chairs and let the sea air wash away the rush of the day.

Wife and where hungry after a day of sightseeing so we saw this place on trip adviser so we stopped in. Boy were we surprised. Great atmosphere and even better food. The only down side was they didn't have enough local brews on tap. After you eat go walk through and look at all of the little shops. Pretty cool.... More

This funky restaurant was just perfect for lunch. We were seated quickly outside under the trees near the water. The waiters were friendly and the service was great. This restaurant was recommended to us by people we met on a cruise ship so we stopped on the way to Key West. We ordered the Conch Chowder which was delicious. Two... More

One of my favourite places to eat in Islamorada. Great atmosphere, quick and courteous service, tasty food. Usually go for breakfast, but have also been for dinner. Hash browns are good, coffee is good. Fish tacos are good. Very affordable. Love the different birds everywhere! Right on the docks so after you eat you can walk out and feed the... More

It's part of a Marina where you can go out on the dock and feed the tarpons and pelicans. They also have booths set up there where you can buy souvenirs. The food was very good, the bloody Caesar spectacular. Slot of really good seafood. A nice spot under the trees overlooking the bay.

My husband and I both got the Mahi (as it was dubbed 'fish of the day') it was seasoned well, but didn't taste like fresh caught fish. Disappointing.

This was a good place to buy fresh seafood to make at our kitchen in the resort we were staying at. The seafood was fresh, and clean.

We had two great meals at the Hungry Tarpon. Before our fishing trip, we enjoyed some drinks and lunch at the bar. After our success aboard the Capt Michael, we had the kitchen cook our fresh catch, which was amazing! We recommend Thai style and blackened for your fish - and ask for some tortillas so you can build your... More

I wanted to come and have the trailer trash Bloody Mary! It was very good but with a price tag to go with it at $14, food was ok, your basic tourist spot in the keys
