This is a really neat place to eat. You can sit along the water and watch the tarpon while you eat! They have live music many times and the people are very friendly. The food was very good and you got a lot of it. Plus, if you go on the snorkel tour you get 10% off you meal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hungry Tarpon. The food was delicious - lobster bisque is a must - very very filling. Conch fritters were good - a little overdone but still tasty. We had purple island Mahi - which was delicous. Our server Gary was great - good personality, there when we needed him, speedy and timely. Overall... More

We went to Robbie's to feed the Tarpon, it was great fun. So we stayed for lunch, we had the lobster bisque and mahi mahi sandwich grilled. The soup was great had a hot bite to it, very nice and large serving. The fish was wonderful. Our service was quick and friendly . The large fans were important on this... More

Great news.....we have ordered more fans that are super quiet! I think everyone can agree that the fans during the summer are a MUST. We're really thankful for the great review. The lobster bisque is known to be the best in Islamorada but I can argue that it is the best in the Florida Keys. More

We were driving to Key West and had just had lunch. Although we didn't get a chance to eat here many friends said the food was delicious and the tarpon a must see attraction. I'm so happy we visited. The sight of those large fish jumping out of the water to eat from our hands was exciting and we had... More

The mahi mahi was super delicious, the sunsets and gulf views are good , too. We also had a bowl of lobster bisque which was spicy but good, and my husband had a house salad that was very large for a regular house salad.

Each year this little paradise just gets better and better. Outdoor dining has a beautiful view of the gulf side of the channel with the bridge leading to the Atlantic. The food is always terrific with some of the most original presentations I've ever seen. Everything is fresh and homemade. Their Lobster Bisque is to dye for and served in... More

We try and get better and better every day. We're very honored that you keep coming back again and again. Nothing beats fresh fish for lunch or dinner that you caught yourself. My favorite is Thai style with Panko bread crumbs and a delicious Caribbean sauce. The Lobster Bisque is homemade and definitely a favorite around here. Thank you for... More

Our waiter was a jerk from the very beginning. I don't recall his name but he is the tall, thin, twice divorced, dark haired waiter with a bad attitude. We had questions, he did not have patience for any of them. He was slow, apathetic, and actually rude. The setting of the restaurant is a novelty, and if you look... More

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. I would also like to apologize that your service was not above and beyond. People do have bad days but it's not an excuse to be rude or short with any customer. We will personally sit down with this individual to avoid a reoccurring situation. All... More

Customer service is definitely not a priority here. We waited to be seated at the sign and when the server turned up he just pointed at a space 30 yds away! To be fair we had a lovely outlook from where we sat but I just expected a bit better. When our server (eventually) turned up he was very pleasant... More

The Trailer Trash Bloody Mary is hands down the best in the Keys. It's the best thing for you when you played too hard the night before. They also go great as an appetizer for lunch or dinner. Breakfast here is by far the best around town. With awesome views and huge portions, you'll leave here happy and full. Thank... More
