After having an amazing Breakfast experience at the Sarabeth's in New York, it was only natural to assume that we would have the same truly delightful Breakfast at the Sarabeth's in Key West. Unfortunately, while the name is the same, our Breakfast experience was rather disappointing. Perhaps our level of expectation was too high, so here it is in great... More

Too bad this gem is closed Mondays and Tuesdays or we would have eaten there more often. Just a block away from Ambrosia Inn, where we stayed, Sarabeth's patio dining breakfast experience was a highlight for our vacation. Finally a heavy flatware but no tablecl;oth or placemats ( I appreciate these details). The seats were very comfortable and the food was... More

Thank you, Ted! We're honored to have been a highlight during your stay here. Waffles, bacon, and coffee sounds like the perfect breakfast to me, and you certainly can't go wrong with freshly squeezed orange juice! We'd love to welcome you back for another meal next time you're in the area. I hope the rest of your vacation was just... More

This was our 2nd visit to Key West and we had to go back to sarabeth's! We were so glad that it was good as we remembered! The lemon ricotta pancakes are to die for!! The shrimp and bacon inlet was great and the location is just so quaint! We liked it so much we went twice this trip!

Our last morning in Key West we decided to eat brunch somewhere. They were busy and we waited for about 4 minutes to be greeted by anyone to get a table or name on the list..once he returned, the host was very quick to get us a table and very very nice! We decided on the Four Flowers juice and... More

My husband and I had dinner at Sarabeths and, while we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and service, the food leaves something to be desired. The tomato soup is too creamy, the calamari greasy, the meatloaf waaay under seasoned and the shellfish cakes more bread than meat. I've heard good things about their breakfast and would recommend sticking with that rather... More

While I'm happy that you and your husband enjoyed the atmosphere and service, I really wish we had impressed you more with those dishes. We've been serving our tomato soup and meatloaf for decades, and they usually get nothing but raving reviews, so I'm not sure what the problem could have been. As for the shellfish cakes, they're made of... More

My wife and I have been going to Sarabeth's at least once a year since they opened about 10 years ago. This year we had both a breakfast and dinner there, and it was great, as always. The seafood dishes are terrific but I typically have trouble passing up the meatloaf or the chicken pot pie. Good, reasonably-priced wine selection.... More

Well, we went there because the reviews were very good. I ordered a turkey sandwich. It was indeed a turkey sandwich, I'll give them that, but $15 for a turkey sandwich?! I'm happy to pay for a good sandwich but nothing special, at all, like make a sandwich at your house nothing special. Wife, spinach and goat cheese omelette. Mediocre... More

I really wish that we had impressed you more with that turkey sandwich and omelette. We want you to feel that you are getting the best and most delicious meal for the price you pay, and it sounds like that wasn't the case this time around. I'm happy to hear that your waitress took such great care of you, but... More

We ate breakfast at Sarabeth's twice during our stay. It was located right out our doorstep. I had the Red Omelette and the Green and White scrambled eggs and both were so yummy. More than filling portions and came with multigrain toast. There were seven in our party and no one had any complaints. Slightly pricey but typical for most... More

Although we missed their Sunday fried chicken, the seafood cakes were delicious. I was eager to try their rose malbec, but unfortunately they were out. Quaint setting. Very different feel than the one in NYC by Central Park. My starter (shrimp) was just fine so perhaps should have tried something different.
