This was my favorite breakfast of our trip. Cuban cafe du leche, huge portions, and fantastic service. We ate on the porch as they took orders from the window. Great mix of locals and visitors lined up down the steps, yet no one waited more than a few minutes. Love this place!

We stayed at the Best Western across the street from Ana's. Every morning at 6am I would walk across the street to get our 1/2 Cuban,1/2 American coffee. ...large of coarse. Ana made the special coffee and provided some pleasant conversation while in the process. I would return to the room with the coffee and the day began. There is... More

We stayed at Hidden Beach, a condo complex right in front of the Reach Hotel (Beachfront end of Vernon Rd). We simply walked through the Reach Hotel (residents of Hidden Beach have complimentary usage of amenities at the Reach Hotel)...anyway, we walked through the Reach Hotel Lobby and Ana's is a 30 second walk to the corner at the light.... A family of 14 ate here-all outside seating. Many of us ordered the Cuban pork sandwich, served on a chewy hoagie roll - for about $7. The jerk chicken sauce on the table took it over the top. You can buy whole coconuts drilled for drinking the water for $4. The owner made a point to check with us regarding... More

Stayed around the corner at the Blue Marlin and this was a great spot to grab a bite and sit outside on the porch. The cuisine is Cuban and I had the Cuban sandwich which was delicious! Many of the typical cuban dishes are on the menu and I believe there's a breakfast menu as well. Highly recommend while in... More

The Cuban sandwich is delicious. Different from what I know as a typical Cuban...but nonetheless delicious. Hit the spot for lunch!

It's a walk up window with hot dogs, fries, finger foods and good for a'pop in' to quench a hunger before your real lunch or dinner. It was nice to sit on the verandah, have a hotdog and fries and snap down a few beers. You can't expect much from a place like this as it's much like a neighbourhood... More

This place is a walk up style cafe. It seemed slightly unkept - the tables are outside and nobody was wiping them down between guests so they were a little nasty! You can see them cook the food - kitchen doesn't look the cleanest. The ladies working there seemed a little overwhelmed as well. We ordered a Cuban mix sandwich... More

We went here after reading about how great this place is...really?? Let's start with the service, the ladies working were friendly maybe to much as they over charged my girlfriend's credit card by a few hundred dollars. Less talking...more working. I admit thats an honest mistake and was rectified a week later. The food however was down right horrible. I... More
