Great food on Stock Island!

Off the beaten path on Stock Island. It is the place that the locals go. The restaurant is situated right next to the marina. They have live music on the weekends and the food was very good. I liked the grouper cheeks and the Bloody Mary's were top notch.

We went for dinner and everything started well, server was attentive and drinks came fairly quickly (slower than expected but it was busy). That is when the wheels came off. 1. Appetizers came and the conch fritters were a ball of dough and lacked the crispiness any good fritter should have. Taste was good though. 2. Waitress evaporated faster than... More

I love the feel of this place. It is on nearby Stock Island and clearly has the love of the locals. It is dog friendly outside! We sat outside near the water. Everything was great, from the service to the food to the drinks. I would definitely come here again.

We were told by a local to go here and experience the "local" hangout. It definitely is that. Great experience and food but 3 star review is due to slow service. I expect a little longer wait times on vacation but this one was ridiculous. I actually had to flag down the wait staff several times before our food was... More

Whenever I tell people about the Hogfish Grill I always preface it with a statement about ignoring what you have to drive through to get there. You might think you missed the turn or are lost but keep driving as you will soon come to the best place for cold beer, good food, great music, you might even see a... More

Try the hog fish tacos. Some of the best in the Keys. It is usually busy, but that's the fun of it. Sitting at picnic tables and enjoying fresh hog fish. It really doesn't get any better than this.

We were a bit doubtful as it was off the beaten path, and we even started to leave, but some other guests talked us into giving it a try. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was interesting and delicious. My husband ordered the Hogfish Fish & Chips and I had the Ceviche. Both were delicious and the... More

The Hogfish Bar is the most reasonably priced restaurant the we found near Key West. It really is the place that the locals go to. It is not fancy at all. The restrooms are disgusting, avoid using them if at all possible! One night that we were there the live entertainment was great, the next night, not good at all.... More

Took awhile to find, but love hog fish and wanted to find this place. Finally found them but had to wait for a parking place. Seated quickly by a friendly lady. We had the special of the house, a hog fish sandwich. Taste was good but portion of fish was very small, very small compared to the one we had... More

Friends suggested we try someplace new on our way to Key West so we went to Hogfish Bar and Grill. What a treat this was. My husband ordered the blackened chicken taco and I had the blackened tuna taco. Each dish was accompanied by rice/beans/corn. Absolutely delicious!! The restaurant and bar is charming with a great Tiki atmosphere. The staff... More
