Can you go wrong visiting here? If you are a Jimmy Buffett fan or like live music of like beer or like to see lots of license plates or like to see lots of bras on the wall, this is the place for you. A blast!

I was lucky enough to meet Captain Tony back in the late 60's and we became friends. He was a legend, and legends never die. There is nothing to dislike about this bar, the oldest bar in Florida, it has a history few places can match, and if it's bar stools could talk most of us would be in jail.... More

I always drink here when in town, it's old, ugly, dirty and I love it! A lot of great history in here. A must do when out partying in old town.

Quit crying about being the original Sloppy Joe. I'd rather go the actual Sloppy Joe anyway. There is more seating, better atmosphere, and more outgoing staff.

We stopped in to Captain Tony's and were given a little back story on the place. it was the original Sloppy Joe's and also home of the original town morgue. There is a tree growing up through the middle of the bar that they have built additions around. Good sized place and fun. They had a one man band playing... More

This was a fun bar and was just of Duval Street. There are several female bra's & panties hanging from the rafters of the bars. They seem to have been accumulated over the years and have alot of dust on them. They seem to be the theme here and i'm sure they have alot of history and stories behind them.

Captain Tony's is just one of those Key West places you have to stop in at. Interesting people who always have a story to tell. Prices are great and they at least have a soloist, if not a band to kick back out of the heat and relax.

I am sure if you look at any of the travel guides for Key West Captain Tony's will be at the top of their list(s) of places to visit. At least for the adult crowd. My wife and I paid them a visit and found the atmosphere and history quite enjoyable as we enjoyed a beverage. It's fun to just... More
