Had the rumrunner while on my tour of tasty establishments in Key West - pretty good drink. It was cool to see what famous people have had drinks there....via the bar stool names. (We left a signed dollar vs. a bra or license plate.)

Live in NJ but have been coming here for 20 years. It never changes and that's what I love. The atmosphere is great and I love the Pirates Punch. Nothing like an afternoon cigar and a drink here. A must in Key West.

This is a cool place too. Lots of free music. Get the bartenders to tell you about the dead bodies buried under the pool tables! Don't miss the skeleton behind the bar. Oh, and remember to sign a dollar bill and hang it up in the saloon!

This place looks so interesting, the ceiling is full of random things left by people who have been there before.. we were super bummed when we went in and stood at the bar and never got waited on...

This is your average bar with the good old fashioned atmosphere of hundreds of other places along Duval Street. However, what made us really enjoy our night there was the entertainment. There was a singer (who I think was called Jack) who was quite simply hilarious. He had a great voice and sung some great songs but in between the... More

Good atmosphere. The drinks where alright but the bar tenders where not friendly at all. I realize that they get busy, but even a little smile goes a long way. Left after about an hour; will not be back.

Dropped into Capt. Tony's while in Key West. it was a quiet Sunday night and this quaint and quirky place was just right. Nice bar feel with lots of off beat décor hanging from the walls and ceilings. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. Tried Capt Tony's own brew which was very nice and worth a try.

To truly experience Key West you must go to Captain Tony's and check out the history of this place. Between the "hanging" tree still growing in the middle of the building, to the real grave in the pool room, there is so much here. It was the original Sloppy Joe's bar too and the starting point for Jimmy Buffett. Go... More
