After having seafood all week we decided we wanted Mexican for our last night in Key West. Looked on Yelp and there weren't many to choose from. Sooooo glad we picked this place. I highly recommend it! It was sweltering hot and there was quaint outdoor seating so we asked for the coolest seat. We were not disappointed- the fans... More

First our waiter was like a robot. Asked for separate checks said against their policy. Offered margaritas glad we asked if wine based. No liquor sales. Chips were homemade was best part of the meal. Food was barely avarage. Will no return as a customer.

We had lunch and the atmosphere was very charming. Our waiters were fantastic, tending to our every need, and anticipating what may have wanted next. The food was very fresh and presented beautifully! It is a gem amongst all the noise, traffic, and humanity on Duvall street.

We are from Texas so we were amazed with the quality of the food (we had the tortilla soup, quesadillas and steak salad). Everything was so fresh and better than what we can get even in Texas!

After a long day in Key West, we decided to give ourself a treat in this mexican restaurant. We arrived at 22.05 and asked if it was possible to have dinner. No problem is what they said. On the contrary, the waiter made this an awful evening. He came to check every minute to see if we were ready to... More

The Old Town Mexican doesn't have much curb appeal. It's basically just a creatively re-purposed empty lot between two buildings, but the setting is clean and well maintained and the extended patio is fine for people watching. At 6-ish, we were promptly greeted at the front gate by a pleasant young lady who seated us immediately. Our server, Seth, introduced... More

We came here two years ago and loved it. We said we had to come back so we did. This time around it wasn't like we remembered. It was just ok. :( Kinda disappointed.

Priced too high for what it was - middle of the road Mexican food at best. I would not recommend eating here if you all looking for good Mexican food. Service was mediocre (matched the food). The most interesting thing there was the rooster which they chased away.... 2.5 Rating

I want to say this is more of a Baja mexican restaurant, as I am quite familiar with true mexican food, being from Texas. The taco salad, may have been a nacho salad, but the greens are NOT iceberg which pleases me. The chips and salsa come ONLY after you have ordered, which is weird, but fine by me. Eat... More
