Sangrias and Lobster-Shrimp Fajita special was amazing!

March 2015 was the second year in a row we have visited this place. The food was fantastic. The heat in the fajitas was excellent and the conch fritters were delicious. Sangrias are absolutely a must and the salsa is fresh, filled with lime juice and cilantro and diced in bits and pieces - bursting... read more

Stopped here on our way back from snorkeling for lunch and beer. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside in the shade, it was cool and quiet. The service we received was excellent as was our food. We split crab cakes, which tasted just like any other restaurants crab cakes. We also had their seafood fajitas which included... More

We were ready for a break after a long morning of touring and walking, saw the lovely shaded outdoor dining area and seated ourselves, as the sign instructed. It was a long wait before we were acknowledged by the staff. After we ordered, it was a long wait for the meal. When it came, we were never given our flatware... More

We stopped here as we toured the area attractions. We don't normally frequent Mexican restaurants while traveling as sometimes it just doesn't agree with us. I ordered the grilled salmon sandwich $10.75, my husband had the steak fajita quesadilla $14.25 and our friends shared the black and blue mahi-mahi $12.25. Diet drinks were $3 each. The chips and salsa were... More

We had lunch in this delightful open air restaurant. In the shade of trees-in the city! Food was really well prepared and creative in variations on the classics. We had nacho Chips with great fresh salsa. Rancho Huevos were superb as was the Garden Enchilada. We are really happy we found this restaurant!!

Food in my experience was overpriced and the tacos we both had were the worst I have had in a long time. The taco shells were stale and the filling itself extremely average. Difficult to make a bad taco but they managed. I'm no snob but the whole place had a bit of a cheap plastic feel. A real shame... More

Went there for lunch, good location and great for watching everyone go by. Service was hit and miss, one guy was great but the other a bit forgetful. The fish tacos were outstanding!! The best I have ever had, a must have.

This was a last minute decision for our group of 6. Hard to find a place in KW that will take a party of 6 without a reservation. The only draw back is that they wouldn't split the checks but to their credit they told us of this policy before they ever seated us. Food was simple Mexican fare...it arrived... More

From the fast service of tacos and salsa, we had a good late evening at the Mexican Cafe. We sat in front, looking at the people on Duval St, while enjoying Margaritas. Later on, good solid Mexican treats, that certainly was more than just mexican for tourists.. We really enjoyed the meat, the beans, the soanish rice...the lot. We can... More
