Loved the freshness and variety of the pastries. Our favorites were the apricot and pear pastries. Well worth the walk from the Hyatt Sunset Harbor Resort.
Over the years, we have had good and not so good meals at this restaurant. The not so good was when they tried an evening meal. It seems they have now returned to their roots with good results. I had the spinach and eggs in a brioche roll with a wonderful mustard sauce. It was great. My husband had a... More
Went here on spring break and it was the perfect get away. Great atmosphere and food. Le bistro has an authentic menu. Dining is all outdoors on a patio but is well shaded. Would definitely recommend if you want to get away from the crowds.
We've been going here for years and went several times during this vacation. Excellent beignets and croissants as usual. This time we decided to try Le Bistro. The breakfast croissant was excellent and the pancakes were probably the best I've ever had. The only thing that really spoiled our experience was our waitress who clearly did not want to be... More
We adore this place for the great food, service and intimate setting. The croissants are suburb as are the galettes and crepes. They even serve two poached eggs in a brioche bun with the top cut off and the ingredients placed inside, delicious! Our relatives from Europe said they'd never tasted better. I like that there are nearly 100 places... More
Rode my bike up around 9am on a Monday morning. Ordered several pastries and a breakfast sandwich at the counter and sat on the front porch. Wish I had more time to lounge around. Great place to slow down and enjoy the morning. Pastries, croissants and beignets were very good. Guava croissant was memorable. Will hit again upon return to... More
Every trip to Key West we eat at least once at Croissants de France and get pastries to go also. Since our last visit in July 2013 the owners have upgraded with new awnings and have done some interior painting which brightens up the appearance. Food is consistently good and our waiter was pleasant.
And the couple we were vacationing with ate from their bakery twice. Staff was friendly, food was good & the resident rooster (Johnny) added some charm. Great lunch spot off Duval.
The buckwheat crepes have no flavor at all and seem hastily made. the omelette seemed to have eggs that have been precooked and them made into an omelette because they were tough and had egg "curds" in them. There is better French in town so seek it out. Service very slow.
