I had never been to this restaurant in my past 2 visits to Key West but stumbled across it when looking for an affordable place for a small number of guests for our destination wedding. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor and Zagat we decided to take a chance and book the private room for our wedding dinner. What a... More

We came for the happy hour for half priced appetizers and drinks. Food was pretty good and mostly fried. We were happy w our mid day snack meal but would not go again unless during happy hour to pay half off.

Great location and atmosphere the best meal we had in town but our waiter was snooty and the cost was a bit over the top.

We were led to believe this was fine dining, but after reviewing their menu and making our selection, the waiter, Sean took our order, then came back 15 mins later to say, they were out of the item, so we picked another one..after 15 mins or so, the waiter told us our second choice was also out...extremely disappointed, we reluctantly... Excellent prime rib, fine service, comfortable formal setting, and very god views from second story establishment (if you can get a table near the windows, which is hard to do). Pricey. Good for families with reasonably behaved children. A bit pricey. There are better restaurants in Key West, but not many!

This restaurant has a great location, but you need a table by the window. The food was very good, but not as wonderful as the food next door at A & B Lobster. The Commodore is a little less expensive but not much. The service was condescending. We'd return if there weren't so many other wonderful choices in Key West,

It seems the Commodore has declined a little. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, but the presentation was not up to the price. We noticed that the tiger and leopard pattern chair upholstery was very faded, almost tattered. It's a great location, but needs some updating. Wouldn't take much to are it great again.

Great food and impeccable service. We had a steak and fish course - both excellent. Key Lime pie was one of the best of our trip.

Best meal of our five day stay at Key West. We had the Delmonico ribeye and Mahi Mahi. Both were fantastic. View was very nice. Our waiter was older and seemed to really not want to be there. Very aloof and not very pleasant. The place was pretty empty after a day of storms but wish we had a different... More
