My husband and I visited Santiago's on our honeymoon by recommendation of our inn keeper. We sat inside, but wished we'd decided to enjoy the evening air on their outdoor dining area. We each ordered a sangria, their speciality drink. For our first tapas-style experience, we shared a cheese plate, bacon wrapped mushrooms, and the evening's special seared sesame tuna.... more

Derek met us and right away I knew we would find the place a "keeper." We trusted him to choose our tapas, which he did after discussion. Each one was outstanding, with the possible exception of the lamb patties. The steak was magnificent, as was the pork. His suggestion of bread pudding was a winner for all four of us.... more

The atmosphere is a little too snooty for my liking, but the food was fantastic. I was a little unsure of the menu, as I have simple tastes. We ordered four items: chicken skewers, shrimp w/ chorizo skewer, spanakopita, and beef tenderloin. The chicken skewers were marinated in olive olive oil, lemon zest, and rosemary, served with a side of... more

I was in Key West with my daughter and her friend, to celebrate my daughter's 21st bday. We had fully planned on having lunch at Blue Heaven, only to get there and be told we had 1 1/2 hour wait in the heat & humidity. Fortunately, the hostess at Blue Heaven recommended we try Santiago's, just down the block...we walked... more

Small enough to provide individual close attention, funky enough to be fun, outside the box enough to be memorable. The helpful, knowledgeable staff will gladly guide you through the extensive tapas menu. The servings are not only deliciously prepared but also generously presented. I dare you to leave hungry. more

If you've never done tapas style dining, I wouldn't suggest going here for the first time to try it....you'll get great food, no doubt, but you'll be surprised by how much you have to pay. All the same, it is fairly priced for the quality of food you get...just expect to order three $10-$13 tapas a piece if you want... more

I've been to Key West several times and I've dined here many times. Wonderful tapas, great friendly staff, and yummy wine! Gotta have the Yellow Fin Ceviche, Beef Tenderloin with melted blue cheese butter and my favorite the crusted pork chops! Have fun! more

We tried out this amazing restaurant based on a recommention from the sweet bartender at Hog's Breath. First off don't be worried about the location. It seems like a sketchy area but we had no problems walking from our hotel on Duval to Santiago's on Petronia. Please keep in mind we are two 25 year old ladies. Though we didn't... more

Getting tapas and drinks can be pricey, but if you're in the right place, it's worth it. This is an intimate little place in Bahama Village with some really delicious tapas. It's in a house, so look closely or you'll miss it! We drove by twice (using GPS to get us there) and still didn't see it until we gave... more

i have frequented Santiago's since they first opened, and i'm sorry to say i will not be back anytime soon. sometimes it was only my girlfriend and i, sometimes with groups of friends, and we always had terrible service. as a local, i understood the difficulties of getting established in this town, so i think i was pretty patient by... more
