In a lifetime of travel on business, home and abroad, I try to avoid hotel restaurants--which usually fall far short of chef-owned restaurants devoted to cuisine for a living. And I usually skip past restaurants which have a view--often you're paying for the view, not the quality of the food. Hot Tin Roof is the exception on both counts. The... More

The wait staff was knowledgeable and nice. They brought our daughters dinner early noticing that she was hungry.

we requested table on patio and the sun put on the show! The grouper was excellent, the diver scallops, a bit rich since they were served with cheese risotto, but very good. Key lime pie best on the Island. Derek was our server, was knowledgable and provided great insight of Key West. The sunset was spectacular and we were away... More

All the staff was very nice. Prices are a little high but this is Key West. The mood lighting was a little dart for me. But still a nice place right on the water.

The view of the water, the pool, the park and oh yeah, the humongous cruise ship docked nearby were simply perfect as a backdrop for one of the best breakfasts I had in the Key's They called it spare rib hash but it was more like beef stew that had cooked for many hours. The food was great - enjoyed... More

Ate here for breakfast on our last day in KW. Great food & one of the best views of Sunset Key in Key West. The only downside is the service. Not a whole lot of friendly smiles or "we are glad you are here" type of vibe. I don't know why but service is spotty & slow. I don't mind... More

After arriving at about 11:30 for Sunday Brunch with no reservations Oleg the host was very nice and assured us he could squeeze us in. Josh was our server and he was the best! He was very helpful and kept the mimosas coming! Matias at the bar was very friendly and nice as well. Very great staff and the food... More

The service was dry and the second half of the meal was not on their game, would have ordered another drink. We had a small plate of the Chorizo/cheese/peppers that I felt was bland and I question having guests at such a nice establishment make their own little tacos at the table, it just does not fit what I would... My husband and I were visiting my parents in Summerland Key, and we had made reservations at the famed Little Palm Island to celebrate my 50th birthday. Since we had to travel by ferry to get there and the weather was not conducive, we decided to head to Key West to find an alternative. Hot Tin Roof was listed as... More
