Nice bistro menu, fresh food with calm service and ambience. The evening was lovely and the balcony was quiet place to enjoy a good meal.

The food was really good. But the services was awful. We had to ask for refills on our drinks and them it was forever before our waitress brought them to us. Poor service seems to be a theme in Key West.

We were just strolling down Duval St and happened upon the Banana Cafe. It was mid-morning and we were looking for breakfast. Got a little table in the front easily and ordered. Food was fast, very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Well stop here again.

Our breakfast experience here was good, just not great. The breakfast potatoes are very tasty. Perhaps we should have tried their crepes (their specialty) It's a neat little place & staff was very friendly & efficient.

This past week, my wife and I made our first visit to Key West. On our third day we commented that the food has been good, but nothing exceptional. Later that afternoon, while looking for lunch, we walked past Banana Café and were thrilled to have found a fantastic place to eat. The atmosphere is very casual and pleasant. The... More

Banana Cafe has the best breakfast in Key West. Plenty of choices for light eaters and big breakfast eaters, too. Fresh fruit plate is such a good choice. And the Nutella crepe is a chocolate lovers dream.

Both our entries were only fair. Sorry, but I had a BLT with way too much bacon, one piece of lettuce and a few tomatoes. When I asked for more mayo the waitress said okay but I had to ask again, then she said that she did not get to the kitchen yet! My wife had the Tuna fish salad... More

My wife discovered the Banana Cafe as a delightful breakfast bistro. We came for dinner, and enjoyed it so much returned for the last dinner of our week here. The kitchen prepares an eclectic selection of specials each night, very hard to pass these up, although the menu offers many fine options, ranging from crispy duck, to stuffed bone in... More
