Best Restaurant of the Trip

We stumbled upon the Banana Cafe on Duval at Louisa our first afternoon in Key West for a late lunch. We split their tuna sandwich, and went back for lunch, breakfast, and dinner with Chef Chris over the next 4 days. Exquisite fare. Their Sauteed Shrimp Salad is a must try!

My wife and I had just got to Key West and were looking for a restaurant on short notice on a Saturday night. While other places were booked the Banana Café had availability which worried me a bit; however, it turned out to be a great choice. The meal from salad to dessert was excellent, the service was very good... More

Good food, friendly staff. We enjoyed sitting outside and eating breakfast. You can order from both the breakfast and lunch menus during breakfast time, which I really liked.

We were up early to watch the sunrise and photograph the Southernmost Point Buoy with no crowd. Found this little gem on Duval. Excellent crepe and omelette! Delicious coffee. A must do again.

We have been here several times before and really like the food. The portion sizes are really way too much and I would prefer to have less food for a smaller price. It is tasty however, and I would recommend the pork chop. Our service was often delayed and during all three courses each of us at the table were... More

Stopped in as we were walking down Duval from the Southernmosr Point back to Mallory Square. Hearty snd flavorful veggie quiche, tasty roquefort crepe. Much less touristy than the places closer to Old Town. Definitely a.favorablr recommendation.

Europeans flavor on the menu at this small place at the end of Duval Street. Bagels and lox are excellent for a non jewfish deli. Molests are big and very good. Coffee s rich European style. There is a roof top area to dine which is open air or downstairs is covered. Prices are reasonable but not cheap like Dennys... More

Great place to stay and with a Caribbean ambiance. The salads are rich and tasty. The portions are reasonable and not overdone. They have also take ways. Good place to rest after strolling along Duval street.
