Banana Café has quickly become one of our favorite places in Key West. It is unpretentious, unique, inviting and absolutely excellent. Yes, it has a French touch, but is casual, cozy, quite comfortable. Big open air windows when the weather is welcoming, which is almost always. And the tab was very reasonable--easily the lowest of any of the five fine... More

Had a great breakfast. I actually was able to order a la carte. Had a bagel with cream cheese with a side of Norwegian salmon. Very happy, will go back!

If you're looking for something simple for breakfast then this is the place to go. The food is nice and you get exactly what you ask for. The majority of cafés offer lovely breakfasts but are not ideal for young children, but here , even our parky kids were catered for. If you have young kids this is the place... More

My wife and I were referred to this place by another couple that was staying at the Orchid Key Inn where we were so we decided to try it. Went for breakfast and it was very busy. We were seated promptly on the upper level which was an open air balcony overlooking Duval St. Very cool spot. This is a... More

Quaint cafe recommended by staff where we were staying. Busy most of the time, but cafe personnel were attentive, knowledgeable of menu items, and breakfast meal was tasty. Worth a visit.

Read the reviews so we went for breakfast. Husband had eggs Benedict and I had the crepe with sausage and Swiss. I thought the crepe was too thick and husband Benedict was just okay. I added the mushroom sauce to mine and while it was tasty, I think it took away from the crepe and over powered the meal. I... More

Right on Duval Street, good French food, good service. Fresh seafood (the scallops were amazing), French classics (yummy escargots, delicious soups), and a top notch key lime pie which cannot possibly be fattening since it's eaten on vacation, right? We went back twice, which tells you a lot.
