Sandy's is a great cuban sandwich stand that delivers high quality food at a decent price. There are probably 2 or 3 other places that also serve a good cuban sandwhich but none are better in my opinion. They also serve great breaakfast sandwiches and coffee. The local who recommended the chicken soup was so right! It was incredible. We shared a "Sandy's" and a chicken soup and it was more than enough. The portion is very large. We had their delicious cuban mix sandwiches for lunch yesterday and then had some late night drunk munchies so we went back for breakfast sandwiches. I was reading about their coffee a lot and got hooked after my first cup. I even went to WinnDixie and took it home to enjoy it every morning in the cold Chicago winter. But I have to admitt, nothing beats enjoying it on the premise in Key West. Their sandwiches and tacos were great, too. more

If you are in Key West, you MUST try her chicken soup...the best ever!!! It's not your standard chicken and noodles...it's a cuban version, and it's AMAZING!!! (I'm a local...you can trust me!) more

I've only had a Cuban sandwich maybe ten times in my life but, this one so far is the best i've had. When we asked where to go everyone said Sandy's, now I know why. When we were there I forgot to order a side of Cuban cheese toast, which I also wanted to try, oh well next time. more

Sandy's Cafe is a sidewalk carry-out place where the local Key West construction workers go for lunch! Awesome "cuban mix" sandwich - ask for their guacamole on it too (or try it on the side). Fast, friendly, delicious, and inexpensive. Connected to M&M's laundromat near White & Elizabeth St. more

I just got back after a 7 day stay in Key West. I was told by locals that it was the best coffee in town. I made it a daily ritual to grab a cup to start my day here, just like the locals do. Get a cafe con leche and then ride down to the end of White Pier... more
