We stumbled across this restaurant in Key West as our TomTom said it was near by and we wanted to try something new. The decor is spartan with loudish Haitian music playing. Price is confidence and their prices are on the high side, indicating they think their food is worth it. I had the Creole shrimp with pasta and it... More

The fiancé and I went to Mo's because he was craving some caribbean food. The stellar reviews made us excited to visit. It's a little off the beaten path in Key West but was an easy 5 minute bike ride from Duval. They have nike racks out front. Inside the art was very cool, but the table arrangement was a... More

Haitian food is like no other Caribbean cuisine. Traditionally, they cooked the parts of animals No one wanted, cow or pigs feet, that stuff but their lack of prime cuts was substituted with amazing taste that compares to no other. When you get to Mo's ask them what typical Haitian food they have. Not on the menu was Legume. It... More

We dined at Mo's last night on the recommendation of the bartender at our inn, and we were not disappointed. I have never had Haitian food before, so I cannot speak with any authority about it's authenticity. It was delicious. We tried the onion soup. Not the typical consomme broth but richer and spicier. For entrees we had the Escargot... More

Again wishing tripadvisor had scoring up to 10, because I would give this place a 7. Not worthy of a 4 out of 5, but better than the 3 out of 5 that is my other option. Two in our party had the sea bass or snapper (can't recall now) and it was cooked to perfection--a large serving but we... More

It's all about the food. Shrimp creole and Caribbean chicken were both outstanding. If you are looking for authentic Caribbean food, this is a good place to go!

Mo's is definitely worth the search! I had the grouper and my wife had Shrimp Creole. Both dishes were superb! The grouper was cooked to perfection, as was the Shrimp. Sad that I visited my last day in Key West, as I could eat here everyday! Looking forward to next year, we'll be back!

Whenever I go to key west Mo's will be my first place to dine. The food taste delicious, great staff and the chef prepared the food while you wait. Last time I had grio, sauce, rice and beans plus pasta. The best pasta I ever taste so far, tasteful simply amazing. I always make sure I take a plate back... More

This was our first visit and Mo's makes you feel like you walked right into the cook's kitchen. And what a kitchen, the aromas let you know you are in for a treat. The gazpacho was delightful, and the oxtail stew was authentic, rich and savory. The sides were perfectly matched. Mo's is a small restaurant with colorful native island... More

The portions were generous and the meat was very flavorful. 3 of us were there and we had pork, lamb and beef. It was a bit hot to be honest in the restaurant, but the food was worth it.
