Where in the heck are the people?

Even Bubba from Fort Worth can recognize great food and I just had it. I'm sitting here with 2 guys at the counter and no one else here. This might be the best food in Key West and no one is here! What's up with that? I had a Snapper dinner that was well presented with subtle seasoning and fresh... read more

We like to eat early around 6 pm. Mo's was half full by then and most restaurants here don't really start to fill until around 7pm. We had the BBQ Ribs and they where great. I would say the food is more like Island cooking (Bahamian) and they even serve Goat. Off the beaten path for tourist. Can see the... More

We went for an early dinner so we were the only ones in the small restaurant. The cook took out one pan to make our food. This is NOT fast-food. I am sure they do not have a microwave. It was OUTSTANDING. We had snapper with a sauce and veges and rice. Can't believe how good it all tasted. Can't... More

High season and only one table occupied but it was early on a Monday night so no red flags yet. Many great reviews so decided to take a chance. An order of fried plantains was ridiculous ....$4 for four thin slices fried to a crisp..tasteless...with a small dish of mystery sauce. However, the snapper was wonderful, over rice and nicely... We were riding bikes when it started to sprinkle outside. We were ready for lunch and happened upon this little gem. It was fantastic and we felt awfully blessed to have stumbled upon this restaurant.

My husband and I are always looking for places off the beaten path. Mo's was recommended by others staying at our B&B, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere didn't cater to tourists, so we figured that the emphasis would be on the food, and we were right! Our dinners were terrific and well priced. (But honestly, when they served... More

Delicious food and very nice family. The reason we came was because of the supposed "best key lime pie in Key West"--maybe we got a bad slice??

We stumbled across this restaurant in Key West as our TomTom said it was near by and we wanted to try something new. The decor is spartan with loudish Haitian music playing. Price is confidence and their prices are on the high side, indicating they think their food is worth it. I had the Creole shrimp with pasta and it... More

The fiancé and I went to Mo's because he was craving some caribbean food. The stellar reviews made us excited to visit. It's a little off the beaten path in Key West but was an easy 5 minute bike ride from Duval. They have nike racks out front. Inside the art was very cool, but the table arrangement was a... More

Haitian food is like no other Caribbean cuisine. Traditionally, they cooked the parts of animals No one wanted, cow or pigs feet, that stuff but their lack of prime cuts was substituted with amazing taste that compares to no other. When you get to Mo's ask them what typical Haitian food they have. Not on the menu was Legume. It... More
