We got in late afternoon and didn't want to go far from where we are staying to grab a bite. Mo's was just a couple blocks down the street and it was one of the few places we hadn't tried yet. It is real small inside but had a great local KW feel. We were given menus quickly and drinks... More

We only had good meals in Key West, but this is the one we’ll remember. At Mo’s we ordered grouper and red snapper, Caribbean style (beautiful balance of heat and fruit), with black beans and asparagus. Our dessert—slices of sour orange pie—came as a reward for our ecstatic consumption of every atom on our respective plates. This is the one... More

Walking into Mo's is like walking into the kitchen of a creole family in the caribbean. Immediately you will smell the amazing aromas coming from the giant boiling pots you can see on the stovetop behind the counter. Is the best off the beaten path, hole in wall gem in Key West. Off the tourist strip. I have tried nearly... More

We've been living in the Keys for 14 years and couldn't believe that we hadn't been here since it changed hands over 8-9 years ago. We had lunch here today. We walked in and there was a family. It was quiet while the World Cup played in the background. The décor reminds us of any local island (Caribbean) restaurant so... More

I just wrapped up a dive trip to Key Largo and traveled to Key West for a day to sight see and have lunch. I decided to eat at Mo’s Restaurant based solely on the recommendations on Trip Advisor. Mo’s does not open until noon, so be forewarned. The façade of the building on Winter Street does no justice to... More

We read about Mo’s on yelp and decided to check it out after paying way too much for mediocre food on and around Duval St. This place is small and very casual but the food is wonderful! Everything is freshly prepared and so flavorful. We started out with wings and crab cakes. When my husband grabbed a wing by the... More

...If we had not been told by some people we met that Mo's was a great place to eat at reasonable prices, we probably would not have stopped in. The restaurant has a sign saying Mo's with a big clove of garlic with a smiling face which, while cute, did not say "eat here". However, we were very glad we... More

I have eaten at Mo's many times over the years and am never disappointed with the truly exquisite Snapper Creole with red beans and rice and vegetables. The seasoning on everything is perfect. I wish I could recreate these flavors.

Delicious food. Family style. Home feel. Had the oxtail for the first time and thought it was amazing. Best food in the keys.

I am a local Key Wester and me and my friends have never failed to be impressed with the cuisine at Mo's. A true mom and pops place with a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. All meals are home made by the owners and the flavors tell you its the real deal. I fell for the caribbean chicken and my friends favor... More
