Great Happy Hour

Before heading to Alonzo's we read some of the recent reviews. Not all were great, so there was some slight hesitation. At the advice of our concierge, we took the risk and headed over to what sounded like a great happy hour opportunity. We were so glad we did! I ordered the Key Lime martini, which... read more

They also had a great variety of fresh oysters, and cooked oysters in several styles...they were all superb. My loved the Key Lime Pie Mojito. You could not ask for a more pleasant and speedy server than Amber, who's recommendation on the best fresh oysters was dead-on. We are going back today.

While the service was good, the food was just ok and a little over priced. We enjoyed the salad however it was just ok. We had the oysters and they were good however it was a little pricey.

For Europeans most of the establishments in the Keys are just below the standard of an ordinary beach hut and this place is not much different. Call it an eating house, OK. Food and drinks: ordered a bottle of wine. Nothing wrong with it. Dishes turned out to be simple as you can expect in a railway waiting room. Waittress... More

If I could rate it a zero, I would. Visited this place with my family. Had super awesome waitress, completely disgusting experience. Ordered a drink off of the drink menu during happy hour. When it came, it kind of tasted sour like something was wrong in it. I told the waitress asking if I could have another drink and she... More

Went here for Happy Hour last week and the appetizers/drinks were 1/2 priced until 6 and delicious. We had peel and eat shrimp, ceviche, calamari, & oysters and enjoyed every dish. The key lime martini's were also great!

My husband and I visited this place on Wednesday during happy hour. Granted it is busy so we sat at the bar to grab a couple of drinks before dinner. We sat there for over 20 minutes while the bartender looked right at us THREE TIMES and said, "I will be right with you." That right with you never came.... More

After our snorkeling trip, the captain recommended Alonzo's for happy hour. We were hungry and It was perfect! We had pricey raw oysters but half priced baked oysters, fish dip and beer-steamed shrimp. Yum! Our waiter was attentive and speedy.

We ate here on our first night in Key West. BIG, BIG MISTAKE! Please, don't waste your money here. Food is terrible and WAY overpriced. I ordered the snapper dish. I had a hard time finding the tiny piece of fish that I was given among the massive mound of mashed potatoes. My mother got the seafood combination platter. It... More
