Off the madness that is Duval Street, a great place to meet friends and enjoy good food. We ate there several times during our recent stay in KW, the first time because we were hungry and it was near our hotel. We were enchanted, and it became our "neighborhood pub" while we were there. Great sandwiches and Irish specialities, a... more

let me say this: as a local, sometimes i get tired of sunsets, beaches, mahi-mahi, and pina coladas. and that's when i come here! finnegan's offers great food (huge menu) and huge portions, a lively bar (also a quieter dining room if you want to get away), and the best guinness in KW. more

If you're looking to get away from the mid-western family of 8 that just disembarked their crusise ship and who are now all sitting next to you at sloppy joes with beads around their necks and all wanting to drink "moe-heetoes", then this place is for you. This is the irish pub for the locals. You wouldn't even know it... more

Visited Finnegan's during the week of May 16th-24th, 2009. My husband and I ate there twice. My folks ate there 3 times. It's that good. We went during HH and got the garlic wings. Excellent. Then we ordered the escargot in a bread bowl. It had a white cream sauce, grilled peppers, ham, mushrooms and plenty of escargot. This was... more

After having attended a gathering of locals and TripAdvisor posters, we were invited to continue the evening with a meal at Finnigan's. We enjoyed one of the most memorable nights of my life. I have never laughed so hard so many times for sure. Finnigan's is the perfect spot to enjoy such an evening among good friends. I first ordered... more

I hadn't been to Finnigan's Wake in many years until recently and I was happy to see it was just as I'd remembered it. The food is definitely a step above pub food though the atmosphere can't be beat. Try the potato leek soup and the strawberry reubarb tart - my favorites! more

You are in for a pleasant Key West surpise when you walk into this authentic pub at the corner of Grinnell and James Street. Great food both on the extensive menu and the on the weekly specials (I love the catchy menu titles and descriptions), fun crowd and nice staff. There is something for everyone including pub seating, dining room... more

My wife and I stopped in Finnigan's Wake on our very first visit to KW. It is now a staple for all subsequent visits. Well air conditioned on hot days. Great small Irish pub atmosphere. TV's tuned to international sports (especially soccer). Tasty pub food. A broad selection of domestic and international beers and spirits. Away from Duval street crowds... more

Stopped in for a beer and snacks during a football game and we had 3 small things: 1) philly cheese steak sandwich. The meat was full of gristle. 2) the potato skins were greasy (twice fried?) and burnt. 3) the chicken wings were OK. But, the beer was cold. Go for the games and beer but be careful with the... more
