Breakfast!

This is really OLD KEY WEST! This restaurant has survived since 1909 and it looks like a 'dive'--especially with the chickens coming in a visiting while you eat. But if you are up for a delicious breakfast and a VERY informal spot, try Pepe's

Neat little place with great charm. Good food.....seems like a good local place. Great menu and few blocks off the main areas.

We went for breakfast and had a 30 minute wait. Although the food seemed priced reasonable, there are no frills. Food was just ok. My husband had the French toast special that had a coconut cream sauce and berries and I had the green chile omelet. My omelet was basically one peeled and seeded green chile whole inside with a... I was traveling with my 12 pound dog. Pepe's welcomed us with open arms. Teresa kept us company even though her shift was over. Great stone crab claws, nice mustard pork sandwich, awesome brownie ala mode. We liked it so much after lunch we went back for dinner!

Omelette of the day, delicious, eggs benedict, good, bread banana and walnut the best. Not the cheapest breakfast, but good coffee and plenty of food.

The fresh Mahi-Mahi tacos were awesome! The margaritas yummy! The service was efficient but not overwhelming. Eat outside if possible!

It's an old school place. Sat outside for dinner - sandwich for one and fish for the other. There was an upcharged of $3.50 to have a baked potato with burger instead of coleslaw. Hmm.. It was good, old school, but our server was meh... Could have been a bad night for her. Not saying it could be good, we... More

For over 20 years I have been going to Pepe's and this is the first time I left disappointed. I haven't been to Key West in a while with all its disappointing changes, but I had been craving some of the foods I used to eat when frequently vacationing down there. I booked tickets from Connecticut for a weekend getaway... More

It's in more of a residential area than some restaurants in Key West, but it is well worth finding. It's a short walk from Mallory Square. We had their Grilled double Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. It was Great and you can try to guess which of the waitresses is the subject of the nude painting on the wall.

Very old school atmosphere, friendly service, good lunch of seafood. Small bar and outdoor patio. Fresh sandwiches and homeade desserts.
