Description: A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

Walking around in the old part of Key West, we had lunch at this restaurant at Duval street in a historic building. We tried the sandwiches with blackened fish and chicken. Taste was allright, but not special, we expected a little more for the price we payed. Service was OK but not outstanding too.

We ate here on our first morning in Key West having seen on the menu the previous night that they only use free range eggs. Our food was good as was the coffee and Orange juice. My Eggs Benedict was tasty but a little underdone, so not excellent. The balcony setting, set back from the hustle of the main street... More

Had great fun watching people walk down Duval Street as we had a delicious lunch here. Bagatelle had excellent drinks, and we both had their Lemonade, that contained Limoncello, Ginger Liqueur, sparkling water and lemons. My husband had the lobster grilled cheese, and I had the avocado cucumber tomato and blue cheese wrap with chips and salsa. Both were fantastic,... More

I came back here again for eggs benedict because I remembered how good it was the last time I was in Key West. I'm happy to report that it's still terrific! The menu had plenty of other interesting breakfast items, including variations on eggs benedict (with seafood). Service was friendly and prompt; my waitress (Bernadet was her name, I believe)... Eggs Benedict, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffees out on the front porch of this Victorian era house made for a memorable breakfast. Servers were polite and the food and mood were excellent.

This restaurant is located right on Duval Street in a beautiful house with a porch seating on the first and second floors. My husband and I both ordered the whole red snapper meal, which was really fun and tasty. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and watching folks walk by as we had our meal.

Arrive early before the spring breakers. We ordered the steak omelette and the huevos rancheros. They both came with a mashed potato hash, which was wonderful. The huevos rancheros came with some awesome guacamole and very mild salsa. Overall, a lovely breakfast, but it wasn't a place I felt the need to come back to. Maybe lunch and dinner are... More

I had Mahi Mahi with mashed potatoes. It was very good. The salad was very good too. The drinks were a little weak, but tasty. I sat on the porch right above Duvall St. which was very nice. A very nice dinner at sunset.
