We Eat here every visit. Unfortunately dinner started with cold soup & deteriorated from there. One waitress for 6 to 8 tables meant empty glasses, lukewarm entrees & lackluster service. No more return trips or referrals. I don't mind paying the price if it's worth it. This was not a good evening at all.

Description: A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

We were looking for another restaurant when we saw Bagatelle. Very nice wine list, excellent food, and service. Thomas, our waiter, great service, brought me a glass of Pinot Noir, but it was chilled. I never had it chilled before and asked for a glass that was room temperature. He apologized, and got right on it.

We just popped in here for a light breakfast, but I was moved to review because of the negative earlier reviews on the service...we had the most friendly and efficient service that you could hope for. The menu looked excellent and regular customers recommended it. If I had been longer in Key West I would definitely go there.

We stumbled across Bagatelle and decided to try it. The location, right on Duval, is great and we sat on the porch, which enabled people watching throughout the meal. The mussels were fantastic and a must try!

Having enjoyed our visit to Bagatelle last year, my son chose it for his rehearsal dinner. The manager, Steven, was friendly and anxious to please our 20+ guests. Uupon arrival, I mentioned to the waiter to place shrimp appetizers on each table--done almost immediately!
