Description: A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

If you come to Key West, you must go to Bagatelle. I eat dinner here every time I'm in Key West. My one recommendation is: ORDER THE SNAPPER! The presentation is incredible and it's really good. But come hungry as it is a lot of food, but I always find a way to stuff it down.

Located on the hustle and bustle of Duval Street in the historic Capt Roberts property (1884) and reflects the aura of that era. Great place to sit and people watch on porch/balcony especially in the happy hour (4pm-7pm) when cocktails are available on a buy one get one free! We adored the starters namely crispy pork belly and mussels followed... More

It's slow season so restaurant was quiet which was a good thing because it can get very busy. Our servers were good and helpful albeit a bit distant. Our friends enjoyed their lunch. The fried chicken sandwich was bountiful, the lobster grilled cheese was tasty, the salad was plentiful but the lettuce seemed wilty which could've been caused by the... More

We got there just as they opened at 5pm since we had no reservation. The only complaint of the meal was the martini I ordered. Apparently, their liquor order hadn't come in, so I had to alter my choice of gin... the result was not great. Other than that, we had a great meal. The bread they brought to start... More

My husband and I were lucky to be recommended here by frequent visitors we spoke with at a wine bar. It was terrific! Located on Duval it had great porch dining for people watching. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. Passing on the recommendation!

Now, I only stopped in for said martini. But the 3 of us had the same drink and were equally disgusted by it. One of my friends is a quazi-local and couldn't understand how the drink was THAT bad, as she loves the bar and their food & drink. When we all kind of commented that the espresso martini shouldn't... More

We went for breakfast, omelet overcooked, service poor and over priced. View is great, won't return.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. Service was excellent. The food wasn't bad....just not worth the price. I had a lobster omelet. I was still hungry after my $18 omelet. My wife had the lobster grilled cheese. The sandwich had a decent amount of lobster but not much cheese. Once again, not worth $15. They did have good... More

Steak, mashed potatoes and onion rings are clearly not a staple for me but I sure enjoyed it there. Everyone at the table was delighted in the food quality, presentation, taste and service. I really don't know how many times we ate there but I can tell you it is a restaurant we don't get tired of. The martini's beautiful... More

Had a great dinner here, and was pleasantly surprised at such a neat place right on Duval. We ate outside, and it was very enjoyable. We could see the action on Duval, but clever placement of plants gave a sense of separation. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the hogfish. Wine list was great also.
