A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

Enjoy the activities of Duval Street while eating dinner

This restaurant is located in house that was built in the 1800's. You can feel the history as you enter the place. My wife and I had late dinner (9pm) so we could enjoy the people watching and listening to the music from the bar on Duval street from the second floor terrace. The wine list is not... read more

Once again we choose Bagatelle for dinner and one again we we not disappointed. Food was excellent as the services was but the best part was the home made oreo cheesecake . We were really surprised for the fluffy, rich and nice flavor of it. If you go to Bagatelle you must try it.

Seating on the second floor balcony couldn't be better for an entertaining view of the Duval Street scene. Our food (grilled swordfish, pork tenderloin, house made key lime pie) were all excellent. The service, unfortunately, was amateurish at best.) Empty water glasses were ignored until we could finally get his attention and make a request for refills. Our server was... More

This used to be a favorite. We live here parttime and sitting on the porch, eating their incredible Conch Chowder and crusty bread with a chilled Pinot Grigio and chatting with tourists and locals alike was heaven. Now, "new owners", new staff, no Chowder (now an over rich Lobster Bisque) in Conch Country. Not good. 4 months ago we mentioned... More

We dined at Bagatelle on Easter Sunday for lunch, and sat outside on their beautiful upstairs porch. The service was fantastic as was the food. Overlooking Duval Street, listening to the sounds of music from the street below I had a moment of feeling like I was in New Orleans. I highly recommend Bagatelle and will be back for dinner... Again... a very very special person on my trip recommend we try this lovely place for dinner during our week of heavenly vaca. The setting was downright romantic, dimly lit, but not overly stuffy or pretentious,... a great first impression and a wonderful cozy vibe. Our apps and meals were world class... including addtiction-inducing Lobster Mac & Cheese... heavenly, pefectly-done... More

Bagatelle is almost always the first and the last place we have dinner in Key West. We have been there many times and it usually doesn't disappoint, except on this trip. There is nothing better than sitting on the porch, either upstairs or downstairs, and watching the world go by and that still holds true. This restaurant is in a... More
