South American Comfort Food in Unpretentious Setting

This little bistro is not central - away from the main drag- but because of that it is quiet and calm. Peruvian comfort food right next to the Palms Hotel. We discovered it randomly one evening and were charmed by the service and all the cool things they did with various species of corn!!

We took our nanny (who is Peruvian) and loved it. The homemade sauces were authentic and delicious. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Food was true to Peru (per my nanny) and it was a great price for the family. The ice cream was my favorite.

We had the Choclo a la Huancaina, Lomo Saltado de Mariscos, Jalea de Mariscos, and Inca Kola. It was all fantastic.

It is like being in Peru with out expending the time in the plane, no vacation needed to taste some Peruvian food with all the ingredients imported from Peru. Yummy cheese sauce, delicious seafood, and reasonable prices.

This is a very nice place to have dinner or lunch. Me and some friends decided to have lunch here and I must say I was very impressed with the food and the conversation we had with the owner. Our meals came fresh and hot, the owners also explained each item to us and how those ingredient were native to... More

I was excited to try this place but found the food to be almost un-edible. The seafood may have been frozen before because the texture was mushy and bad. We didn't finish our food - had a couple of bites - paid the bill and left as quickly as possible. The good ratings on Trip Advisor make me concerned that... More

We came all away from North Carilina to enjoy these great exotic dishes. It's not easy to find an authentic Peruvian restaurant along the southeast coast of the USA. We were visiting Key West so we decided to give this beautifully decorated restaurant a try. The Ceviche, Jalea and Seafood Arroz Chaufa were delicious, we highly recommend. Excellent service and... Had the seafood ceviche for an appetizer, the fish in the ceviche was very fresh and as good as I've had at any restaurant. My wife did her usual remake of the menu and they were very accommodating, she really enjoyed her shrimp dish. I had the fried rice with seafood which was good but I think I would have... More
