We had a party of five and ordered five different meals and we all shared. Each one was better than the previous !!!! The slow cooked Cuban pork is a MUST ! The best I have ever had. Service was incrediable and the owner Scott made us feel like we were locals ! I will definitely be back to Kaya... More

My nephew and I visited 2 years ago. We found the food to be outstanding. We just returned from eating there Twice on this trip to the Keys. We tried again the Conch Steak, Curry Shrimp, and the Kaya Salad. All were as we remembered...Outstanding !! If on your way from, or to, Key West, you owe it to yourself... More

The Kaya had great rice bowls. Sherry had five spice chicken while I had ginger beef. Both were very good. We were not terribly hungry going in, which can dampen the enthusiasm for a restaurant, but we got hungrier after trying the food. It was good.

Wanted to get away from the crowds in Key West plus having to pay so much to park; we decided to try Kaya Island Eats and were very impressed. We went early so we wouldn't have to wait, glad we did, it became packed. The food was superb, very different, very tasty. Enjoyed so much we highly recommend.

Found Kaya Island Eats on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Arrived at 8pm ....place was packed, but we were seated immediately. The other reviewers noted the restaurant is noisy...they aren't kidding...was difficult to carry on a conversation. Loved the menu....interesting choices. Tried the Conch chowder and it was delicious! My dining mates had the mussels and said... More

The food, service, and ambience were all much better than I expected in an out-of-the-way roadside restaurant. An example of personalized greeting was an unordered, free appetizer plate of sliced fresh strawberries, mandarin orange slices, and toast circles served by the manager for the 2-yr old with us. The clientelle were mostly adults and obviously enjoying themselves. A great place... More

Fantastic food and service, generous portions, excellent variety and very reasonable prices. Traveled from California on a road trip and this was the best meal we had by far.

Being a local,I love trying new places in the Keys. After seeing that Kaya was ranked so high on Trip Advisor I was excited to stop in. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. There was one employee (maybe a manager or the owner?) who was giving every customer attention and obviously cared about the place. But the rest was just silly.... More

YELP indicated that Kaya Island Eats was casual attire, so we stopped by on our way back from Dry Tortuqus National Park. We were dry and clean, but felt WAY underdressed. Scott the owner greeted us with a smile and seated us at an awesome table in the middle of the restaurant where we enjoyed delicious seafood dishes presented in... More
