Typical Irish pub, pool table, outdoor patio srating

We needed to catch quick bite and happened by McConnells outdoor patio, which is very nice. Food was good, typical pub style menu. We had burgers and Reubens and beer. Service was very slow, which seemed typical of our visit to the Keys. On Duval street close to Hemmingway house.

Good food, not expensive . They have a cat right where you eat. Duval street view! We had a chicken sandwich and a hamburger. Self-seating.

This pub made us feel at home from the minute we walked in the door. Our waiter, Gage, had only been there three days, but we rate him the absolute BEST waiter in the Keys! He was so cute I had to have a pic taken with him. Excellent service, excellent food, and just a fun place to hang out!... More

I had the corn beef and cabbage dish! A bit salty for me but over all what I would expect for a pub!

After a long and tedious drive from Miami, we were happy to find an Irish Pub within walking distance of our lodging. The menu offers pub grub such as shepherds pies and a good assortment of Irish and other beers on tap. We were quickly seated at a comfortable outdoor table and soon had our beers in hand. Both of... I just drank and listened to live music, so I cannot comment on the food. The people were friendly and the music was great. It was a folksy four piece band playing country and blues.

We had a fish'n chips and ordered a lemonade and sat outside. Food was ok and service was very good.

I had lunch here, tried the corned beef quesadilla based on the bartender's recommendation, it was very good in an interesting sort of way. The Smithwicks was cold and the bartender was very nice. Talked to locals and tourists, all seemed friendly. I will go back again.

$6 Pints for Smithwicks and the same for Magners Cider, we only popped in for a drink at lunchtime but the meal served to the person next to me looked good enough to wish we were having the Corned Beef and Cabbage. However for the tourist trap that Duval Street is, the female member of staff behind the bar could... More
