We ate here twice as it was directly across from our hotel (SMOTB). Great value and very authentic. Make sure to get a beef empanada!

We had breakfast here 3 days in a row as the location is a few steps from our resort. The Cuban coffee is perfect and the breakfast sandwiches are yummy and filling. Very reasonable prices and personable service as well.

Down the block from this walk up window restaurant is the southernmost point in Key West. I spoke with the owner whose father was a well known chef in Key West. She was very proud of the quality of food served by her. I was on a mission to taste as many Cuban sandwiches in the Keys as possible and... More

While you are in Key West, take time to have a meal here! Yes you have to order at a window, however the food is amazing. We tried both of the specials of the day - Flounder and Fried Chicken. Both were outstanding in taste and the portion size was more than enough. The fresh fruit salad is wonderful as... More

We stopped here off the Old Towne Trolley tour after visiting the Southernmost Point in the Continental U.S. for a bite to eat, hoping for some authentic Cuban food, and we were happily surprised to find some homemade empenadas, great Cuban sandwiches, and some strong, tasty Cuban coffee. YUM! This stop made our visit to Key West more fun -... More

Not as good as "Cuban Coffee Queen", but that's on the north side of the island over a mile away. This is a great little place for Cuban coffee. Beware, though, if you're not used to Cuban-style coffee, you might be in for a rude awakening. But you'll definitely be wide awake!

Great Cuban sandwiches for $7. Good quality ingredients, super nice people and fun little place. Also looked like a great breakfast menu.

Nothing fancy here, just a walk-up window to order and some tables sitting on what looks like someone's front porch. The three-person kitchen/cashier area works very quickly considering how busy they can get. It's a great spot for breakfast or lunch with a Cuban flair. Prices are inexpensive by Key West standards. For the more traditional diner, the "hangover special"... More

This shop was recommended to us by a former hotel concierge; he said it was a "local favorite". This place is run by honest, hard-working people who were very personable! They made us absolutely wonderful iced coffee and the best Cuban sandwiches we have ever had. They were a pleasure to do business with, and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them... More
