Good on the run

Had breakfast on the run, this place attached to a laudrymat. It was pretty good, nice local place. No place to sit but a few stools out front, get it to go.

A must when visiting Key West . Be sure to grab yourself a Cafe Cubano and a good ol fashioned Cuban Sandwich. Don't be deterred by the hole in the wall appearance, great grab and go meal for the day

This a walk up window, not far removed from a food truck. The food was ok, it's supposed to be Cuban but I think they have an identity crisis. Some of what they offered looked Mexican or Central American, down to the hot sauces they display. The turnoff for me was the lousy attitude of the wait person at the... More

The Sandy is a great Cuban sandwich, but they have a lot of other very good food too. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. They only take cash. You can walk up, call ahead, or have it delivered. Very little seating area, a few stools is all.

I really was surprised by this nondescript hole in the wall (literally a hole in the wall) adjacent to a laundromat. The Cuban sandwich was as good or better than any I've had down here, and that is saying a lot, and the con leche was sweet and strong as it's supposed to be. A great place anytime, always open.

We were out on sailing excursion and most things closed by the the we got back and presentable (ish!) a lot of places closed so we tried Sandy's. Heard it was local favorite and open late. So worth the trip! We sat at the very limited outside counter. Best Cuban! Key lime pie got mixed reviews but sandwiches were fantastic!!!
