Good hotel food

At the suggestion of the Marriott we tried the restaurant next door at the Holiday Inn. Maybe it was off season, because it certainly wasn’t crowded. This later seemed a shame as the food was good, and the steak was particularly complimented and the seafood marinara was both well flavoured and had... read more

In the lobby of the Holiday Inn at Key Largo you will find a run down, weary looking diner that shows it's age. Yes, the hotel and most of the lobby looks mid-70's chic but the food is top notch. As is the service. The fish and chips were phenomenal, the batter excellent and the key lime tartar sauce divine.... More

The Parmesan Chicken was unevenly spicey, with a few hot spots that were really overboard. The crust of the chicken wedges was nearly burnt too. At least the pasta quality was good, and marinara texture as it should be. My spouse had the top sirloin, which would be better at the bottom of a boot. It was all overpriced for... More

We were suspicious at first. At 6:30pm this hotel restaurant was quite empty. But the chef talked us to try the catch of the day. And boy, it was goood. I had the blackened Mahi with mango souce served with cuban style rice anf steamed vegetables. My partner had whole fried yellowtail served with mash potatoes and garlic asparagus. Both... More

I should have known when we arrive and there was only 2 occupied tables at 7pm at night, bar was closed. They need to shut it down and just serve a complimentary breakfast for the price they get for a room.

I tried their basted eggs the 1st day and ate it everday while there. Except the last day had an omelette, which I couldn't finish because of the size. Waitress after the 1st day very attentive. My husband ate the buffet one morning and said everything hot and a nice variety (myself could not eat that much). That is the... More

Had dinner outside so we could listen to the live music. Restaurant was not crowded at the time. Waiter was efficient at first but then he told us that a large group was expected and we should get our order in or it would take a long time. We ordered but service went downhill from there. We never did see... More

We only had the hotel buffet breakfast and this was overpriced. There was not a big selection and I would consider this a "continental breakfast" not a full buffet. Service is great and the servers are the friendliest! There are many restaurants near by. Mrs. Mac's Kitchen had really good food and service, especially for having a waiting line.

The breakfast bar was average to poor. The potatoes had freeze burns. Bacon was very greasy. Just had scrambled eggs. The breakfast was included in our stay dive package. Did not eat there again.
