Introduction to the Keys

We had been told that no trip to Key Largo for this tourist would be complete without eating at the Conch House and it truly was an introduction to the Keys both in atmosphere and seafood heavy menu. Subsequently we had conch fritters at other restaurants in Key West and found that they were all... read more

Stopped there for lunch on our way home from the key west. Ambiance was great. We opted for outside seating because we did not want to wait. It was actually very cool because the wrap around porch is surrounded by trees. Service was great. We had home made ice tea and opted for the peach flavored one. Very cool and... More

In comparison to mrs. Macs and docs, it was expensive. Food is ok. Nothing special. Service was decent. We had a good server who was friendly and attentive. It did cost about 40 dollars more for roughly the same food and same amount of people.

We were given a coupon for this restaurant and were excited to eat there. The ambiance is good and we ate on the wrap around front porch overlooking the whimsically landscaped yard with shade trees. We ordered local craft beer and shared a seafood sampler appetizer including conch, shrimp, crab cake and lobster. It was delicious and we would go... More

The waitress was very nice. We ordered the conch platter. She asked if we were trying out the conch the first time and recommended which dip goes with which appetizer. The fritters, the cake, coconut shrimp, salsa. The lobster bisque was good, but too rich for my taste, could finish only half of it. The chai tea latte was really... More

Food was very good; coconut shrimp was very good, service was alright, and the ambiance was all keys- quirky, relaxed, functional, and a little rough ( not a knock, it's just what it is). Eat the key lime coconut cake thing- fantastic! Go early enough to get a slice!!! Yes, that was three exclamation points! Dined with family, kids 11-4... More

First, the ambiance is adorable. Such a nice place to just relax and try some local fare. Also, without a doubt, the best local craft beer menu we encountered. This place just didn't seem to measure quite as well as some of the competition in the area. The food was OK. We sampled some conch and other fish style tacos.... More

Wonderful place for breakfast and coffee. The staff was also amazing and patient with our rowdy 1 year old. That's always appreciated. Don't miss it when in Key Largo!

We stopped here to get out of the south bound and north bound traffic on our recent trip to the keys. The food was good and the service was great on both occasions. Fresh fish and conch make the Conch House worth visiting. The desserts were also excellent. Our server was friendly.. my kids loved the conch fritters!
