Dropped in for lunch and had an excellent burger. 2 others in the party, one seafood salad and the other grilled dolphin sandwich, every bit of it was consumed. Glasses of tea big enough to drown in made my day! I hate dinky glasses that you have to keep pestering the waitress to keep filled. I'd have dinner at the... more

We were in Key Largo looking for some good fish. After a lengthy kayak excursion, we sought information from locals about the best places. We decided to give Ballyhoo's a try and weren't disappointed. I had a creative preparation of blackened tuna, prepared in a style which seemed sushi-like. The Missus had yellowtail. As will many places in the keys,... more

We arrived there late, about 9:30 PM on a Thursday night. They were very welcoming and very fast with the food. Very relaxed atmosphere. We saw families and couples there. The menu had interesting options and fresh specials. The Mahi Mahi fingers in chili sauce were great. Blackened grouper was really good. Scallops were excellent-and scallops can be dicey. They... more

My wife & I ate dinner at Ballyhoo's this week and were very impressed with the food, service, and value. Most restaurants in the area boast about their waterfront dining and I have to admit that it is great when you can do it. Ballyhoo's doesn't have the atmosphere that other restaurants in the area have, since its actually located... more

We loved everything! The service was terrific-Randy took care of us twice and Karen waited on us for my husband's 50th birthday dinner. We loved the stuffed lobster tail-stuffing has giant pieces of crabmeat. The all you can eat stone crab was fresh and delicious and Karen brought me more each time my plate was empty. Could not think of... more

The food was outstanding! Every plate was cleaned! The wait staff was excellent. Recommend you show up before 7 pm as the place got really busy. more

We have eaten dinner here many times, as we stay across the road at Bay Harbor Lodge. The food is always good, especially the prime rib specials! Have never had a bad dining experience here. more

We selected this restaurant based on a recommendation at our motel. It was a Friday night, and was getting crowded when we arrived. We stated we wanted indoor seating, and were told about 20+ minute wait. Eventually we were offered outdoor seating, but told them we preferred to wait for indoor. I went to the bar and ordered a glass... more

Never have I ever had a bad meal at Ballyhoo's! The fish is always fresh, the vegetables are fresh, and the staff is always pleasant!! Even though they're running around and sometimes you have to wait a little... well, you have to admit, it has to be a GREAT restaurant if it's packed, especially "in season"! And those succulent Stone... more

Great service, great atmosphere. Enjoyed dinner 2/21...called ahead and made reservations...we were seated immediately upon arrival. Enjoyed all you can eat Stone Crab....had to finally ask the waitress to QUIT BRINGING MORE! Fabulous! Shared a piece of great Key Lime pie. Would definitely visit again. more
