Good dinner

The only place you should go to for stone- crab claws. Atmosphere is not the best and they allow smoking in the outside eating area. But the food makes up for it!

This was the first restaurant that my wife and I tried while we were visiting the Keys. It was better than we were hoping for. The crab was especially good and was available at a very reasonable price. If you are very hungry for crab they have an endless crab option that allows you to eat crab until you have... More

As a person who lives in Key Largo I can say that Ballyhoos is one of the best restaurants in town. Everything on the menu is fresh. I have eaten almost everything on it.

Everything was great but the Oysters were magnificent and the waitress saved the last dozen when she heard we wanted them. Great vibe, lots of locals, everything fresh and tasty. Plenty of food so you may want to share an entree. They divided one for us with no problem or extra charge.

Great food! Average price. Good service. I ordered the Joes vs the Volcano Salad and it was probably one the best salad I have eaten in a while..actually nothing else I ate while in the Keys even came close. Made me come home searching for a recipe to duplicate. My husband ordered the Poboy. All were extremely large portions. I... More

Had dinner with my daughter at Ballyhoo's recently. The seafood food was pretty good, and the gentleman server was great! Beat my expectations!

We ate lunch here while staying at a local inn. The salad was huge and included a nice variety of vegetables. In fact, they offer a rather extensive vegetarian/vegan menu. I'm not vegetarian but did enjoy the salad. I also had a side of mac-n-cheese and it was very good. My fiance had the all-you-can eat crabs and really liked... More

Wonderful bread service with jalapeno jelly as a kicker, wedge salad was plentiful but a bit pricey at 9$ for just iceberg, the yellowtail we had 2 ways: parmesan encrusted and crab stuffed with bernaise sauce. Both were very tasty and the portions generous. Ending with strawberry sorbet was just right: not as heavy as pie and a great complement... More

Had a great meal.. The Joe Vs volcano salad was amazing.. The sangria delicious, the fish super fresh and the conch chowder outstanding! Loved the homemade ketchup on the best French fries ever! Walking distance from our hotel, cannot wait to return!

My husband and I both ordered the sweet potato burgers and it was one of the best vegan meals we have ever had. The service was outstanding and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. For desert we ordered a slice of vegan coconut cake, YUM!! We will definitely be back.
