The hide out restaurant is a "real taste of America" and the food is great all served with a genuine warm friendly service. I would recommend the Red Neck breakfast and having eaten many burgers on my trip, The hide out served the best by far.... :-) The location of the restaurant is great and all the meals are very... Breakfast special was a great price; perfectly cooked food and friendly server. Eating here is like eating at someone's home. Seasonally decorated and local comfortable feeling atmosphere. 2nd time to Key Largo and 2nd time eating at the Hideout Restaurant. Will definitely return.

Wonderful service and food. We had plenty of the food left over and the servers on all occasions were not only pleasant but also suggested places to go while we were in the keys. They only serve breakfast and lunch but on Fridays they have an awesome fish fry for dinner.

This place was perfect for breakfast whilst we were staying at Tarpon Flats. We didn't know what US biscuits or gravy were and had never tried grits, so we had a go here! The food, prices and service was great. We also went on Fish Fry night and although there was no doubt that it was a great deal and... More

This spot is hidden away, but is a great low key spot for breakfast. The service was great and the food was even better. Prices were very low for this area. The atmosphere was laid back and exactly what we were looking for! Thank you!!

It's a diner, but the food is good, the prices are low and the ladies who run this place and work here are a delight. We have had breakfast here many times in the past when we've stayed down in Key Largo, and we had breakfast here twice again this trip (both mornings we were there!), but on this trip... More

The food was really tasty and you can't beat free bloody Mary's on New Year's Day. The wait staff were sweet. You don't go the the Keys and expect lightning service. It's like my mom was making us breakfast and bringing it out while we sat on the patio and enjoyed our coffee. I've been here several times, always a... More

We've had many a breakfast at the Hideout in the years we've been traveling to the Keys. It's located at the very end of the road, rather funky and eclectic looking. Feels like it's been there a long time. Wait staff is so friendly. Good coffee and specials. We enjoyed a great greek omelet and eggs with home fries and... More
