Excellent Food and a Great View

Fantastic seafood and a great view of the sunset. Only complaint would be that the outside seating area is a free-for-all for smokers, so you may get inundated with smoke, depending on which way the wind is blowing. Otherwise, this would get a five-dot/excellent rating.

To start out, we waited about an hour whenever we requested something. We had to ask another waiter to actually get our food our waiter took so long. The food was off and in a couple instances just plain tacky. My dish, a tomato pasta plate, was overly salty. So much so in fact that I couldn't finish it. My... More

Eating dinner while watching the beautiful sunset was atmosphere enough. However, there are tarpons off the dock which you can feed and it offers additional entertainment. The food was good especially the homemade bread which came complimentary with the meal. The only complaint is that the waitress was a little slow and not as attentive as she should have been.

The food here was good, but I was a little surprised by the service/servers. Our waitress was very nice, but was pretty forgetful. Had to ask for plates/silverware once our bread came, and had to ask/remind her more than once for one or two other things. She was very friendly hit spacey. Also, I hesitate to comment too much on... More

We had a really good meal here (for Key Largo). Terrific bread and butter to start. Both are fresh made. Staff is a lot of fun, and the food comes out fairly quickly. Prices are reasonable. I'd go back again next time I am in Key Largo.

My wife and I were staying at the Hamptons Inn Key Largo for a night and wanted somewhere special to go for dinner so came here, didn't know what to expect but once we arrived and were sat down we were stunned in to silence at what a perfect setting it is. We were sat at the edge of the... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Key West. The harbor view was great. Watching the pelicans and tarpons eating were fun too. Service was a little slow. Food was okay. I'm a picky eater so ordered what I thought was an innocent sandwich only to have it come with a very spicy sauce on it. After explaining... More

The sunset is incredible from Sundowners. The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. We had a great waiter and the food was good. Try the keylime martini

We had to wait 15 minutes for a waitress. When she came, she was disinterested, annoyed and did not bring correct order. Nice sunset, but lousy experience.

The location is incredible, a beautiful sunset. Great music and reasonable prices. The stuff filled the kids’ fish bucket to feed the pelicans over and over. Also provided them with an activity sheet and markers. A reach testy vegan menu (for the adults) and great sea food and chicken breast with vegetables for the kids. We returned the next day... More
