We visited Sundowners for lunch on our road trip to Key Largo from Key West, due to good reviews. The view was good, boats out in water, water sports going on outside; however, the food was not good at all. The cuban sandwich came with pickles so we asked if we could get it without and the waitress said, no,... More

We have been to Sundowners many times . We reserved a last night in the Keys for the whole family to dine together and watch the spectacular sunset from our table. The food is always fresh and well presented. They have a $30.00 special which includes an appetizer, entrée , and desert. A real bargain and a good choice of... More

We really enjoyed our trip to Key Largo and did not find a bad restaurant. This one, however, was our favorite. Service was excellent.

Nice place to eat and sea the sunset. Their coconut bread is delicious. They make a great Piña Colada. Their food is very tasty. Great to see the Tarpons off their dock. Will go again.

We had a nice quiet dinner. The prices were average for evening dining, the food was good. It was dark so the waterside seating was a little wasted. We were able to watch the large fish swim under the pier and boardwalk aluminated by the green lights. It should have seemed more romantic, but small bugs bit us while we... More

My girlfriend and I love this place. Everything we have ever ordered here on our multiple visits has been great, with the exception of one conch fritter app order that was 'eh'. Aside from that we have tried almost everything on the menu and love it. The burger with smoked bacon is awesome and I get the fish often. We... More

Very expensive for lunch - $80 - with 1 glass of wine. Ordered from gluten free menu - got 3 cups of minute rice (lumpy, cold and sticky) with an overdone piece of mahi mahi on 10 pieces of soggy and cold spinach - all served on a plate with a bite-sized chip. Didn't complain as the waitress barely wanted... More

Food is great.. A little on the pricy side $20 a plate or more but it was good.. Perfect sunset dining.. They do still allow smoking in restaurants in FL. Just FYI.

Had dinner here our last night. While not the best meal we had, it was not bad. I had the onion crusted mahi which was moist and flavorful. Hubby had the mahi salad. The mahi had a too smoky flavor for my taste. Good bread. Good drinks. Desserts sounded promising but did not live up to their advertising.
