On our way to Key West we stopped here for lunch. The service was good the food was good and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the lunch and thought the location was great. If you are in Key Largo give this place a chance you won't be disappointed.

Stopped for lunch on drive to Key West. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and I had the Tin Roof Fish Sandwich. Food was great, service friendly and attentive. We sat on the deck and enjoyed watching the boats and the large fish swim below us. Lunch was so perfect; we went back to Sundowners for dinner on the way... More

I have been to this restaurant twice. Nice and fast service, good food, outdoor seating, beautiful sunset. If you are in Key Largo you shouldnt miss it.

We went for the sunset. I really wanted to have dinner outside with a beautiful view, and we certainly got that. The food was good. I had the blackened yellowtail and it was tasty. Lots of meringue on their key lime pie, and way too much balsamic with the ice cream. Our server didn't know the specials and was almost... More

Our group of six chose Sundowners as a place to view the sunset over a couple other recommendations. We were greeted cheerfully and seated immediately on the corner of their covered deck with a perfect view of the sunset. Our server, Laura, was friendly and helpful in choosing our drinks and appetizers, as well as our entrees. She was also... More

I highly recommend Sundowners for a quiet and serene Sunday afternoon with your better half. It's always nice to spend an outing on the water, this one-hour getaway from Miami was just perfect. Ordered the Lump Crab Cake and funnel-styled Conch Friters for appetizers with a few Stellas and their famous Key Lime Mojito and Key Lime Martini as a... More

What happened to this place? For years I've been coming here for great sunsets and fantastic meals, 30 years to be exact. The service now is spotty at best, with waiters who can't even remember a simple drink order? The lobster bisque, in its famous bread bowl, a favorite of mine was simply flavorless and forgettable! Same with my Filet... More

I am always happy eating al fresco next to a warm ocean and Sundowners fits the bill. The smells, the warm air, an informal table and great company makes dining over the top. I was especially delighted with the lobster bisque served in a bowl of Italian bread. Since I'm not a very big person this made for a perfect... More

While in Key Largo, we had several recommendations to have dinner here. Both my husband and I thought the food was average. My yellowtail was tasteless, and his filet kabob tasted all like the grill. The view and sunset were very nice, though. The service, we thought, was awesome! Especially when the owner decided to bring his huge party boat... More
