Awesome service, great food during happy hour; we recommend the fish tacos and the calamari. Great atmosphere and a nice view.

We had a delicious lunch with excellent service at Buzzard's Roost and will definitely try it yet again. The last time we visited the kitchen ran out of quite a few things, but not this year. We loved our: Yellowtail Ceviche, Fish sandwiches, burger and my fantastic Lobster Reuben. We had a nice table with a view of the water... More

You have to know about Buzzards Roost to find it - minimal signage on a small road (FL 905) off of US1 in Key Largo, Florida. But once you do find it, you'll be back often. This is NOT a tourist joint, but caters to the "Conchs" living in the Florida Keys. Locally caught hogfish snapper, Florida lobster, fish tacos,... More

I called ahead to reserve a seat by the canal and we had the perfect spot. I ordered the Hogfish on the recommendation of the server as it's a local fish. It was soooo good!!! I had the homemade chips with it and they were very tasty. My husband had the sample seafood plate and really enjoyed everything, but especially... More

Nothing special. Good food but pricey for key largo. Ordered seafood and was not impressed. Conch fritters were a hit

This is a great choice for dinner. The resturant is at the North end of Key Largo and easy to reach. Be sure to request the outside if possible. There are 3 dining choices... waterside, screened porch and inside. The outside sits on the water's edge with a lovely view of a cove. May be too hot in the summer...... More

We went twice during their busy Spring Break run. Great food; friendly staff; wonderful outside spot for dining; good music & priced reasonably. Loved their Seafood Pasta & Key Lime Pie!

At first appearance, the place seemed a little old and dated with large families and seniors dinning. We requested an outside seating and were obliged with a nice canal view table. The food was very good to excellent and fairly priced. I would recommend going on a day when the weather is nice and outside seating is available.

We ate outside at the Buzzard's Roost because they had a nice tent that actually shaded the tables well which is important when you've been out in the sun all day and want to enjoy the beautfiul outdoors but get out of the sun. The view was quite pleasant of the canal and trees and houses. A pelican hung out... More
