We found this place on the internet when we were lost at night on vacation. I'm writing this almost a year after being there but was so good I'm compelled to write about it. Being from the other side of the States we were intrigued by the locals talking about hogfish. Doesn't sound appealing, huh? In any case this was... More

BR has been on my radar for a long while now and man am I glad that I hit it tonight! I had the Kentucky Bourbon Glazed Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar and it was out of this world good! My only regret was not saving room for the Coconut Cake that I have heard so... More

Food and service were great. This is a nicer place than most in Key Largo. Most places are so casual, but you could actually put on a little dress and fit right in. I'll definitely be back.

When visiting Key Largo, we always eat at the Buzzard's Roost. The Blackened Fish is one of our favorites and we always save room for the FANTASTIC Coconut Cake. Enjoy!

We brought our dog on a last-minute weekend trip to the Keys, not thinking about having to eat out after we checked out of our hotel room... The nice ladies at Shell World recommended The Buzzard's Roost since they have a patio out back by the water and were pretty sure dogs were welcome, so we thought, "Eh, even if... More

My family and I visited key Largo over Labor Day weekend. The buzzards roost has always been one of our favorite places to dine however on this particular day we were not with our cell phone because we were lounging at the pool and the buzzards roost had called us and wanted us to call back to confirm our reservation... We ate there several times and the restaurant is clean, food is good and the service is excellent. The only downside is the mixed drinks are expensive and weak. They use a strict measured pour but the glassware is not appropriate for the drink so you get a lot of mixer.

I really enjoyed both the rum drinks and my meal here. I had the lobster Reuben (a specialty of the house) with fresh lobster. Very nice place with a really good bar as well. Highly recommended.

We've had dinner at the buzzards after finding good recommendations on tripadvisor. It totally deserves to be way higher in the ranking. I'd definitely put it on my itinerary for the stay in Key Largo! In my opinion it's a very high class restaurant at very affordable prices.
