Best Meal we had in Key Largo

We were roadtripping Florida a couple of weeks back, and ate at Hobos on our last night. In an area chocka with decent, quirky eating places, we easily all liked Hobos best. The lady who took our order told us that it has recenlty changed hands and been refurbished, so I see that some of the few... read more

What a find in Key Largo. Stumbled upon this unassuming establishment on a Thursday evening when they were dishing up Mexican entrees and so glad we did. Jessica, our cheery server, suggested the onion loaf appetizer, from the main menu, which was tasty and could have easily served four. Hubby and I shared the humongous seafood chimichangas, 3 of them,... More

I don't even normally eat seafood, but got a blackened Mahi which was excellent. Would definitely go back next trip to Key Largo.

I was excited to go to Hobo's but quickly disappointed. I ordered a Mahi sandwich minus the bun because they don't offer just fish for lunch. When it arrived I knew why, they don't know how to properly cook fish. The grill marks were more than marks, they were burns. I had to run down my server to get some... More

Chosen from its Trip Advisor reviews we had two great steaks here. An 8oz peppered steak and a 14oz rib eye. Both really well cooked and tasty. Would certainly go back to try more from the menu. Good service star too. Recommended.

We ate here on our way back from Key West to the airport. We were Starting to tire of seafood so opted for the spinach dip with tortilla chips- plenty for 2 to share and was quite tasty. We then split a steak sandwich which was served with Au Jus for dipping. It was 6 oz piece of tender steak... More

Thoroughly recommended. Stopped in, guided by reviews... Superb service, friendly staff. It was Mexican night (Thursday's) so had wings, then Chimichanga / Fish taco. Delicious.

Really one of best lunches we have had in our many travels. Excellent seafood choices with shrimp and scallops and key lime shrimp. Tammy was an excellent waitress with great recs. For the price you cannot beat their lunch menu. Two great meals for $25 total. Will definitely recommend to friends.

We ate at Hobo's on our last night of vacation. Very nice inside, staff was great. Food was really good. We ordered an onion loaf for an appetizer, if you get a burger, they come on them so we were on onion overload. Would recommend trying it.

They have an excellent selection and all 4 of really liked our meals. I had a Jamaican Jerk Chicken salad (was a little tired of seafood) and it was quite good and very large.
