Classic "red sauce" Italian style

Classic "red sauce" Italian style. Generous portions. My husband had a seafood linguini and I couldn't believe how much seafood was on it; more seafood than pasta! I had the manicotti which was heavy and cheesy as it should be. Very large dining room that could easily accommodate large groups. Lots... read more

We thought an Italian would be a nice change. The food was distinctly average here and the decor tired. The pizza bases didn't appear fresh but frozen and soggy. The children's pasta was bland. All in all our worst meal in 16 nights in Florida.

Our recent visit has moved the food from delicious to phenomenal. The wait staff is pleasant, courteous, and helpful, and the beautifully plated ample food arrives promptly. Café Largo's relaxing Keys ambiance is topped by great food, from garlic rolls and salads to the entrees and desserts. Peppers and Sausage with Penne Pasta is world-class great and the Key Lime... Came in with another couple for a much anticipated dinner. The reviews here are terrific. Cocktails were perfect and appetizer (stuffed meatballs and dip) were spot on! But the server was unclear if soup or salad came with dinner. We ordered them anyway. Couldn't get the server back for grated cheese until the soup was already mostly gone. The dinners... More

We first considered Osso Buco, but the menu indicated that this was porc meat, never seen that in an Italian restaurant. We ordered the filet medallions, the meat itself was very tender, but overloaded with gravy and Gorgonzola, which spoiled it completely. This has nothing to do with Italy. I had a 10% discount coupon, but they only applied 4%.... More

This place looks tiny on the outside but it's very big inside! I loved the paintings in the restaurant and it was very clean. Our waitress was very friendly. The service was fast and food was excellent! Fresh ingredients and good portions, reasonably priced as well. My son order a personal pizza, it was a nice homemade pizza. The meatballs... More

We came in late at night and expected the best. We got it! I ordered the stuffed meatball and the parmesan encrusted hogfish. Laura was extremely helpful and an amazing server. My wife has shellfish allergies and could not decide what to order off the menu. Laura guided us in the right direction. The food was incredible and we were... More

Fantastic food, I had the clam pasta dish amazing and my vegetarian wife had the linguini with rosa sauce which she said was as good as the one in Rome! Our waiter was one of the best we have had in our 3 week vacation. Polite, courteous, looked after my daughter who had a milk allergy. He was the embodiment... More

The family enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, just in time to catch the sunset. The atmosphere was friendly and festive on this hot, summer day. The place was busy so service was a bit delayed, but once she got there, the waitress made up for the delay with great, attentive service. Live open-air music downstairs... More
