Nice and rustic with a lot of character. Crab cake sandwich was tasty and filling. Good conch fritters also. Really nice atmosphere

I have been stopping at A J's for 30 years, and have never been disappointed. The only changes are for the better and the staff just keeps getting more friendly. The conch fritters have been upgraded and are some of the best in the keys.

This is a great little place to stop on your way back from the keys. I have been to this place on numerous occasions and it is a locals favorite spot. I love going Sunday afternoons to have lunch, enjoy live music and have a drink (I don't drink). Very Americanized and good food. When it is full the service... More

This restaurant is on alligator alley and was a nice family place. There were older woman (70s-80s) dancing to the country and western music being played on a stage by a live band. They were pulling young kids up to dance with them which was so sweet. The restaurant is known for it conch fritters which were delicious! This is... More

Anytime I'm headed for the Keys I always time it to end up at this great dive bar around lunch time. The stop starts to put me in "Keys Mode". Whenever someone new comes with us they think we must have made a wrong turn. Coming south from Homestead you make a left onto Card Sound road and there is... More

We went to this place on a Saturday afternoon in late July. We ordered the smoked fish & fish sandwich blacken with fries and a conch fritter appetizer. The course of events took place got a place right on water at 1:00 pm in afternoon no too busy but several large parties. Our waitress greeted us promptly and asked for... More

...I would have given it a five. If you are in Key Largo, or driving thru on your way further south, you should find time to stop in at Alabama Jack's. It really is an authentic local dive bar that happens to be over looking a channel and mangrove trees. There is nothing fake or touristy about this place, which... More

Great conch chowder and conch fritters. Nice stop on card sound. Local keys joint. I read the reviews and saw on Emerils and it lived up!

My husband & I drove "the road less travelled" to try the key lime pie. On a toll road with nothing of interest to look at from Key West back up North to Sarasota,Fl. We have searched for the best key lime pie in the keys along the way. . . Alabama Jack's wasn't it! It was a promising pie... More
