You have to try the coconut onion rings - coconut shreds in the batter. Interesting and tasty with Thai dipping sauce. We had the shrimp, scallops and mahi combo blackened. It was really good, although I think the fried version is better. The setting is nice and relaxing and the service may be a little slow, but this is not... More

We visited this classic Florida Keys dive twice this past weekend (July 25 and 26) following dives with nearby dive charter boats. The food (fish fingers and blackened mahi sandwich) was excellent both times. However that is where excellence ended. At 2:00 pm (hardly the lunch rush hour) on July 25 we waited 25 minutes to get a drink order... More

This is a local dive with fresh fish. The waitress said to have the fresh Yellowtail special and we are glad we did. Good beer and wine list-no cocktails. Has outdoor screen porch seating and indoor bar/restaurant. Basic and good. Most entrees $15-$20.

We stopped here after a nice stay in Islamorada. It had been 18 years since the last time we were at Shipwrecks. The food was fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced. Delicious seafood and burgers. One of the best places to eat in the upper keys. Very funky keys decor and right on the water! This will be one of our... More

Perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Friendly atmosphere, from the waitress, customers and cook! Mahi mahi delish.

We had lunch only. The Thai fish fingers and coconut onion rings were the best. Oh the key lime pie was very good as well. Just a little slow.

This place rocks. Really fantastic food with good prices and a cool atmosphere. It looks like a little hole in the wall but the food is top notch. Don't be fooled, this place is worth the drive and hunt.

Looks can be deceiving. Small bar area with an outdoor seating area. We loved this place! It was busy with a fun atmosphere and the food was great! Our daughter and I had the Mahi, while my husband had the coconut shrimp. Conch fritters for an appetizer and the fish came grilled, blackened and fried. I can't remember the name... More

This was an awesome place to stop on our Way down to key west. We had several dishes betweens, primarily fried seafood, and it was all fresh and delicious.

Pretty much the "must stop" after a dive or if you're meeting someone who just got off the boat. Friday night is all you can eat Mahi and it's excellent. Great little dive bar spot.
