Staff always friendly, but the place is looking a bit worn. Time for an update. Food is consistent and fulfilling as always. Portions are bog, so come hungry.
We ate there on a Saturday (around 11am) in April and are a married couple in our 40s and 50s. We were 'in route' to Long Key for an overnight stay and needed to grab some breakfast along the way. I use TA often and read good things about Doc's and it didn't disappoint.

We were staying at the Key Largo Key West Inn and went there for breakfast before continuing our journey south (very convenient from the hotel, within walking distance). The dining room was simply decorated, bright and airy, with a large mural on one wall. Went to Doc's for breakfast and am now dreaming of my return. What a wonderful place, it is no wonder the locals all recommend it! It was fabulous to walk in and have Doc come out and say hello. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and willing to serve at your pace not theirs. The food was excellent! How do...

Great old time diner and good breakfast. We had eggs, bacon, etc. Coffee refills kept coming. Service was fast. Lots of tables.
3 days in Key Largo...3 days at Doc's....Great place, great food, great service. If I had gone another day my clothes would not of fit.
Great service, food comes out quickly, always consistent! We were in Key Largo last weekend, went back twice! Thanks again!!
The restaurant itself is kind of old, tight, and cramped. The food was pretty good. My husband ordered the champ and said that it was excellent. I wouldn't recommend it or go back. I guess I expect something extraordinary when I'm in Key Largo.
