My husband and I enjoyed our experience at the Rusty Pelican. We had just finished our bike ride through the state park, decided to go back to the motel and jump in the truck to look for lunch. Needless to say we were not quite dressed for such an elegant place but they welcomed us none the less. If you... More

We have over the years been to this restaurant for their Sunday Buffer Brunch.....Superb ...... went back recently and the place is now not even 1 star. The greeting at tthe front desk was average to unfriendly. We were shown to our table and after 20 mins someone asked us if we were being looked after? ..... same for the... More

I went to the Pelican with my Wife. We are Portuguese and where celebrating our Honey Moon. The restaurant was apointed to us by the local tourist kiosk so we went to try it out! A little off bounds from our hotel in Miami beach but I guess it was worth it! The ambience was awesome, nice colouring nice deco.... More

Beautiful view, ok service, nothing special about the food. Be careful when you split your check, the restaurant will charge every single credit card the full amount of the check, although you'll sign a check for the correct amount. When I called the restaurant to find out what was going on, the manager gave me a " don't worry, our... More

The reason I selected this restaurant for lunch with a friend, was that she had never been there before, and the view is great. After previous bad food experiences, I advised her to settle for a salad. I drank water, she had ice tea. They actually wanted to charge her close to three dollars for a refill!!! The waiters..... No... More

The only nice thing at the Rusty Pelican was the view. Poor service and terrible food. Everything is overpriced and definitely not worth it.

On my last night in south Florida I decided to splurge and treat myself to a nice seafood dinner overlooking the bay. At first the free parking was taken and I did not want to pay for valet service so I left and went into town to try to find something. Not seeing anything I returned to Rusty Pelican and... More

I had attended this restaurant over 30 years ago which looked like a small wooden restaurant located on the scenic Biscayne Bay overlooking downtown Miami. However, tonight the scene was a complete transformation in a modern two story structure, but still exhibiting the same gorgeous view of the large buildings across the bay with jet skis, boats, cruising around in... We are Miami locals and for our first time experience we loved it. The food was amazingly good and I myself was very happy with the service. Would we recommend this restaurant to our friends or family definetely. We had ocean view and great breeze. I dont understand why people complain so much I would go visit that restaurant on... More

Rusty Pelican is situated on the waterfront and has some great views of Key Biscayne & Miami skyline. As you enter the restaurant, a pelican statue greets you and as you dine, you actually see real pelicans flying up in the sky. It's wonderful to eat and enjoy the company of your family and friends, while looking out at the... More
