Although the meal was excellent, I don't think the price is justified. Yes, its a Ritz-Carlton, but its also Amelia Island not New York. We were all satisfied with our meals, including the reccomended wine pairings. Our server was attentive but not very personable. I'm not sure if I would return, although that was the best halibut I have had... More

This is absolutely one of the best restaurant experiences we have every had. Our server, Ryan was so knowledgable about everything on the menu and the "salt" that everything was paired with. The presentation of the food is impeccable. Our family had the famous tenderloin that comes out sliced with a block of salt so you can continue cooking it... More

This was absolutely one of the best overall dining experiences I have ever had. It was just me dining and they made me feel exceptionally welcome! I cannot say enough about the food! It was delicious!!!! I could not decide on an entrée so the waiter combined the beef tenderloin and the halibut together! And the bananas foster soufflé was... More

Our server, Ryan, was great! He was attentive, friendly and made some excellent recommendations. Presentation of each course was nicely done and we were provided with several different types of salts to enhance the courses. Looking forward to visiting again.

We were staying at the hotel and the concierge recommended Salt. It was booked solid, but they were able to get us in at 6:00, so we jumped on the chance. We decided to order off the menu as I wanted to try the steak and eggs- and I am glad I did. The appetizer of fois gras was exceptional,... More

Salt is a must! It was definitely one of our all time favorite meals. We had the Chef's choice (not sure if that is the exact name). They chose our food and wine and amazing. Our waiter, Matt, added to the enjoyment of the evening. His dry sense of humor and complete knowledge of food and wine was a bonus!... More

Having dined at Salt a few years ago we were anxious to return. Sadly it was not to be. We attempted to make reservations early in the week for Saturday night but there was nothing available between 5:30 and 9:30 pm. However, we arrived Thursday at 8, much earlier than expected to the Ritz and checked in. The front desk... More

We had been looking forward to our dinner at Salt based on the numerous positive reviews and critical ratings. It was good but it just didn't live up to the hype and expectations. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good but it just wasn't a place that we feel we need to race back to soon. The Key... More

Treat yourself at least once! If you are staying at the Ritz Carlton, it's a must. Swanky? Check. Excellent service? Check. Top quality food? Check. Cool theme? Check. Pricey? It's inside a Ritz-Carlton! The host began our experience with a complementary glass of champagne in celebration of our seventh anniversary. Nice touch. We started with an Heirloom Tomato appetizer &... More

The portions are reasonable (not overly huge), but extremely well prepared and presented. Wine list is extensive, and the service exceptional. A very enjoyable and pleasurable evening.
