One of the best dining experiences we have had. We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island for a corporate event and a few days for personal vacation. Our last night at the hotel was on Saturday, I had made the mistake of waiting till Friday to make reservations at Salt. We were wait listed. With the help of Jonathan,... More

We had researched this resturant for a special occasion. We have eaten at some of the best resturants in the world. The meal we thought would be highlighed by the salt was instead so salty to begin with we could not taste the food! Starting with the bread on. It was so salty it hurt the roof of my mouth,... More

I had the Chefs feature of the night. Tenderloin sliced rare served on a piece of 250 million year old Himalayan salt block heated to 400 degrees. You laid your steak on the block to cook to your liking. Served with lobster and quail eggs. Amazing!!!!!! Service was perfect.

Beautiful restaurant in the Ritz selection is small but everything we ordered was great. Grilled romaine and caprese to start. Steak and papadelle pasta for dinner no room for dessert. We were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us two glasses of champagne also decorated a plate for dessert with cookies and candy nice touch!. The salt they bring you... More

Ryan was our waiter and he was very attentive and entertaining. We had to make a 6:00 reservation or dine at 9:00. We chose the earlier time so we could enjoy the view--which was very nice. We were seated right by a window. The appetizer was good but not worth the $16 and the entrees were good but for desert... More

We dined for our wedding anniversary a couple of years back and had a great (albeit pricey) meal with a lovely view. We wanted to go back the following year, but when I tried to make reservations a week out, there were none available for at least a week on either side of our anniversary (a major summer holiday weekend).... The view is great, the food is very expensive and the food is mediocre. The staff were helpful and nice.

My husband and I were at The Ri yt? Z Carlton for a conference and had a free night. His Tuna Tartare was wonderful with little pieces of watermelon. What a great summer dish. I had the pasta which had one of the best sauces I have ever had. It was a sherry mushroom cream sauce. They chose salts to... More
