I used Open Table to book a reservation for my wife's birthday, and I was delighted to find they had specially printed menus for us reading "Happy birthday" at the top. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The birthday girl had a lovely Alaskan halibut while I tried the filet mignon that I got to cook myself on a... More

We celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and even though we knew it would be costly we ate here anyway and it was worth it. We checked out the menu and noticed they had Alaskan Halibut on the menu and that is what we ordered. It was done to perfection and we loved it. The more the cost, the smaller... More

We had a lovely dinner here. I had the butternut squash soup and the snapper with the halibut setup. Both were delicious. For dessert I had the Grand Marnier Orange soufflé. Wow! Must try. My husband had the heirloom tomato salad and veal porterhouse. He was very pleased with his dinner as well. When we made the reservation we requested... More

The waitress was very attentive to every detail. The salt selections paired nicely with the breads, dinners etc. Food was delicious and the view amazing.

The service was very good, nice ambiance but a bit noisy. The halibut was just average although my husband's pasta was pretty good. The presentation could be improved. I had high expectations because of the reviews and recommendations given me here locally. David's, here on Amelia Island, is still my favorite and the same meal (only tastier) would have cost... Good afternoon 1942care, Thank you for sharing your recent experience at Salt, at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Though you experienced very good service, I was disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction with the Halibut. I have shared your feedback with the Salt Chef as well as the resort's Executive Chef to ensure the dish is addressed and we are able... More

I recently dined here as a special occasion visit with family that was in town. I am familiar with the property as I am a travel agent with American Express and frequently book the Ritz Carlton hotel for clients, so I decided to revisit the marquee restaurant" Salt" to see if it was up to snuff...It was indeed! The service... More

A truly elegant meal! It was a special anninversay and the hostesses sat us at a window, private table. The service was outstanding and the food amazing. They have a very unusual version of "steak and eggs" that finishes cooking on a hot salt stone. Delicious! And foie gras- can't remember the last time I saw that on the menu.... More

I was here last week for a special Bday dinner. The attention to detail at this restaurant is outstanding. The ambiance is perfect. Dark wood, comfortable seating, amazing views. I can honestly say this is the first restaurant where the waiter RYAN, went over every choice on the menu with such explicit detail. It was a pleasure to listen to... More
