Very elegant setting, with a small bar area and unique seating area off to the side. Main dining room looks out over central hotel grounds which was decorated for the holidays. Staff was outstanding and food was excellent. Each course was brought out by a chef who described each dish. Live music was very enjoyable. A little pricey, but it's... More

This was the second time we’ve dined at Salt – both occasions being for my birthday. I have to admit this last experience left us a bit disappointed, mostly in the service (something that The Ritz-Carlton prides itself on). They did recognize my birthday and gave us a wonderful table by the window to view the Christmas lights. When our... More

This is our second time at Salt. My husband and each had soup, salad and shared an entree. Last time we made the mistake of ordering 4 course meals with wine pairings and that was very good, but way too much food for us. This time was perfect. The food is flawless, fresh, and with excellent presentation.

.On our most recent stay at the Ritz we were encouraged to try their "Salt the Grill restaurant". I am glad that we did. The environment is warm and welcoming, the food was superb, the presentation was fantastic and the service outstanding. The selection was so appealing that I decided to order several different kinds appetizers rather than the traditional... More

My wife and I decided to drive up to Amelia Island for Thanksgiving dinner. We were very pleased with the food, and service. The restaurant would have had a better view than the banquet hall, but everything else was wonderful.

My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner here. We chose the 4 course blind tasting with wine pairings. It was great. They asked about food allergies and dislikes, then the rest is up to them. Wonderful wines, soup, chicken, beef and dessert. Not too many details because I don't want to spoil any surprises, but it was worth it.

With two other couples we decided to spend several days at the Ritz with the idea of enjoying their cooking our thanksgiving meal. We know how special Salt is but this experience was magnificent!! No need to give all details. Would take too much space. Four course meal beyond description. Although turkey was one of the choices most of us... More

So many combos with the myriad of salt choices. The food is extremely fresh and "edible". The tuna tartare is very unique and delectable. They also have a steak and eggs served on a hot salt slab - wow!!! Could have better wine list but that's being very picky. Matt (the bartender) is a real cool guy!!!

We had a lovely table by the window. The salt options were fun, especially with the bread at the beginning of the meal. The food was delectable, prepared to perfection. The desserts were fantastic too. Absolutely worth making reservations to experience this meal.
