Great Cuban Food

My wife and I dined here with no Cuban food experience. We went with the wait person's recommendations. My wife had the Cuban chicken sandwich, I had a pork dish, the name of which escapes me now. They were fantastic! We also enjoyed a couple of Café con Leche's. The price was reasonable, and we... read more

The shrimp was well cooked and delicious. The special mahi mahi was dry and had too much cheese over it. Service was friendly and good. If I went back, I'd have the shrimp.

Great service and food much better than Sergios. .. the churrasco steak was very flavorful and tostoneso with garlic sauce was perfect. Haney was out waitress she was very nice fast and simply wonderful. Sorry Sergios of Kendall, Casavana of kendall town and country wins big.

Service and food are good, but could be better. If you're nearby and not in a hurry, stop by to give them a shot and make your own opinion. There are are better options for authentic Cuban food in Miami but not in this area.

Food is of poor quality although the servers are very nice. Granola with yogurts was a child-sized portion priced at nearly $6. Coffee with milk was a poor man's cappuccino. Pancakes were a pre-mixed Bisquik variety. Skip it.

The food was average but not bad. The service was passable. Ate here mainly because it was close to my hotel. Not saying it was bad, just not great either. It was convenient and quick, which was good enough. Go ahead and get the spiciest, because its not too hot

We ordered the Vaca Frita, I was disappointed since it appeared that it was overcooked, Black beans and rice were great, Mojitos were DELICIOUS, we have had better food at La Carreta or Versayes in Miami. We will be back but be apprehensive to order the Vaca Frita again.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Casavana. The décor is very modern without leaving its Cuban roots and I found the staff to be prompt and professional. We opened with mariquitas, then had the lechon with arroz and frijoles negros and platanos maduros. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the quantity of the portion resulted in... More
