Most people I know love this place. I don't. I think their food is rather bizarre, every dish seems to have at least 47 ingredients and even a piece of fish has to be served covered in mango salsa or something equally exotic. Whenever the basic flavor of a dish has to be totally smothered I always wonder why? Are... More

The only reason this place the only reason it isnt a 5 across the board is that it is so popular and the food so delicious that the wait time can be very long.Is it worth it? Yes, but dont go if youre in a hurry.

Although you don't sit outside and the view isn't especially scenic this is a Jupiter institution. Great local spot with truly unique seafood flavor. Expect to wait during peak times and specials do sell out which I like because you know the food is fresh. A must if you are in town. The tuna basil and panko oyster apps are... More

They have a great menu and the best food. No reservations for lunch so leave yourself some time. Well worth the wait!

Little Moir hit the scene a number of years back after making Captain Charlie's the place to go for appetizer's and innovative fish dishes. He and his wife opened Food Shack and have never looked back. It is hands down the best place for fish. Now the downside. It's tiny. Youe will get to know your neighbor and what they... More

Great casual restaurant with excellent fresh fish. Never had a bad meal in the dozens of times we have eaten here. The hog snapper is the best ever (if it is running). They never serve anything that is not in season and incredibly fresh.

The Food Shack is great. They have an extensive menu that changes daily (as well as a regular menu). They are known for their Indoroni (adult mac and cheese) and their daily fish specials, which are crusted in a root vegetable (typically) and served over greens. Their sweet potato crusted fish is wildly popular. The place is tiny and there... More

Have been eating at the Food Shack for years. Every meal, every time is delicious. Every visit is pleasant and fun. The service is good, can sometimes be crowded and they do not take reservations but it is worth the wait. Everyone who lives here knows that Food Shack is the place for a great original menu, unbelievably good food... More

Busy season in south Florida is really winding down by mid April, especially on a monday, however the Food Shack was full and we had to wait about 40 minutes. That's not a hardship, because their attached bar, Maxi's, offers one a great opportunity to sit at the long bar and have a beer or wine. We ordered one of... More
