This place is delicious and everyone knows it! There is always at least a 30 minute wait no matter what time you go. The food is delicious and you can't go wrong with anything you choose. We recommend going for one of their specials, they change it daily! They have really big portions, big enough to share or to have... More

Incredible! Goldentilefish and hogshead in sweet potato crust out of this world! Have it over the salad with pineapple. Desert was wonderful...white chocolate creme brûlée cheesecake and chocolate brownie cake with dark chocolate nut mouse are outstanding! Met people who go multiple times a week and we know why😀

Always something new on the menu, but don't lollygag or pussyfoot around or they'll run out on you.Get there early and bring your reading glasses to peruse all the unique offerings.

Went here on the recommendation of some locals. Glad we did. Just a local joint. We sat at the counter and watched the chef's at work. Great time and those guys and gal worked their butts off. Be prepared for the unusual and you will enjoy. I had the fried shrimp wrap with roasted red pepper, onion, bacon, feta, spinach... More

Been here several times; only gripe is that it's too damned popular! In tourist season , it's really hard to get into the place-no reservations and usually a long line even early evening. This is primarily best for seafood, but they also do many other types of foods-and all are equally quite good-yea, even gourmet-and the menu is changed frequently... More

We go to the Food Shack two to three times when we are in Florida each January. The food quality remains innovative and prepared excellently. But there seemed to be a shortage of wait persons on our last time there (early evening).

This may have been the highlight of our trip this month! We arrived about 7 pm on a Monday night to find a bunch of benches outside filled with people. The wait was supposed to be 45 minutes - we don't usually stay for that long - but decided we had no other plans - why not? After about 30... More

We were in Jupiter to visit several attractions and lunched at Food Shack. My wife's shrimp taco was very good and my blackened dolphin sand which was one of the best I ever had. The cuke salad and carrot cole slaw were well pared with the sandwich. I'll be back. Bill B. Oaktlon, VA.

Unusual preparation, but delicious food. Friendly service. The testaurant is relatively small for the number of people who want to eat there. If you go after 6:00, prepare to wait for a while, no matter what day, specially during the winter.

Mike Mohr is a talented and creative Chef who learned his craft from Ross at Captain Charlie's Reef Grill - North Palm Beach County's best fish restaurant. Upfront I have to warn you that I do not like to mix my food groups. If I want fried oysters I do not want them on a bed or lettuce with fresh... More
