A friend took us to Guanabanas for lunch on our recent visit. What a great relaxing atmosphere! Wife had chicken lettuce wraps that she said were terrific, I went with a shrimp po-boy that was excellent. But the good food pales to the atmosphere ... Tables arranged privately within the palms and foliage, overlooking the water, just unique and spectacular.... More

We really didn't know what to expect, but it turns out loved our meal and the ambiance. We got there just under the wire for happy hour, so ordered sangria (yummy) and then some house wine. Our table was surrounded by tropical vegetation under a canopy of palm trees as well as a huge umbrella (so plenty of shade) and... More

This unusual restaurant is definitely a destination for visitors. Gorgeous water views and tropical vegetation with tiki huts are everywhere one looks! We were a group of six, which our servers handled nicely. Nice wine and beer list. Several ordered the chicken wraps which were pronounced tasty. My chicken and shrimp empanadas were just okay, but bland without the jalapeno... More

This little gem is located on the Intracoastal and has a dock for you to pull up on your boat. The seating is etched into the side of the hill and is such a cool place to eat. The food isn't bad either! They have live music sometimes and it's really a cool place.

This is a place for tourists , or your Company that are visiting you, because the atmosphere is a tropical paradise. Tiki bars, waterfalls, cafe tables right on the Intracoastal. However the menu is nothing special and there is no Vegetarian offerings. But your guests will love it!

This place is like going on vacation! Every time we visit it is a slice of heaven with the waterfalls, decor, view, music......I am craving the experience as I write this. If the food doesn't fit your fancy the ambiance makes up for it 10 fold! If you have to wait a bit the beautiful bar and musicians will help... More

Guanabanas is a little piece of what south Florida is all about. Tropical setting, right on a turn on the canal, pleasure yachts coming and going, plenty of room to park your own yacht if your come in one. Don't be put of when you arrive by car - it's not what is seems once your inside the garden. The... More
