Cooked our own Mahi Mahi to perfection

It was so nice to be able to bring our own catch of the day and have it so nicely prepared. The Caesar salad was huge and had way too much dressing - order it ether on the side or 1/3 of the regular unless you like it that way.

Went there on a suggestion from the hotel. We walked so it was very convenient. We were looking for something relaxed and family friendly. The wait wasn't too bad. Super excited about having wings, first mistake. The wings were burnt, then the fries and kids chicken tenders tasted burnt as well. Almost seemed like the oil was old and burnt,... More

I stopped in for a few beers and dinner. Beer was cold. Food was great. I started with the calamari. very good and tender. The I had the coconut shrimp. Some of the best I've had. They make them with fresh shrimp. Very crispy.

Dear Thirsty Turtle, I am writing this review as a help, not a criticism. We had dinner at about 5:15 PM during the week an off season night. Your patio dining area was packed at this time. It was very hot even at that time of the day. There were dogs on the patio. One (1) Great Dane, One Pit... More

Wings are the best here. Thirsty Turtle has a special flavor, they are amazing. Bugers seafood dishes are all very good too. Not to mention he wait staff is nice, and the beer is cold.

Nice place to stop in for a casual bite. Has your normal bar/sports bar food with some leanings on local seafood. But why have clams/mussels - guess they are trying to get NE tourists. Can be a bit crowded at times. Service is good and prices are good for sandwiches, wings etc. Has a variety of craft beers. It's a... More

Started with an iced tea...it came with no ice. By the time I put in my request for a cup of ice it took 15 minutes for that to arrive. We also ordered French onion soup and New England clam chowder. Those soups came 20 minutes after the initial order. Good soups. Meanwhile a party a few booths away from... More

Not particularly busy but noisy. Bartender "Dude" was friendly and quick with service. Ordered the wings -- tasty but goopy as they were delivered in a pool of sauce and were messy to eat. No beers on tap - not sure we got an explanation. Know others who recommend but we'll continue to sample other locations in lieu of a... More

We stayed at the Holliday inn due to weather, so we took a walk over to the turtle. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, just sat at the bar, bartenders were cool, really it's the only place close enough to walk from the hotel
