Been driving by this Tiki Bar/Hut for years on my way to my fishing spots. Finally thought I would give this place a try, instead of my regular favorite. Am I glad I did. Cross off my bucket list!!! Was pleasantly surprised at the place...ambiance of the beach, kewl, laid back, comfortable, value and food was delicioso. Service was superb,... More

A great choice for a relaxing beer (or in my case, cider) after a weeks work. The atmosphere is brilliant made even better by the 'gaffer' who always comes to greet you Hawaii in Jensen Beach!!!!

Always a favorite of ours during the off season, since we can get in and sit at the bar and have a few beers and relax, enjoy the occasional band if their playing. All in all a local favorite!

After a day at the beach, my girlfriends and I came here for a late lunch. Loved the decor and the atmosphere, very beachy but the food was mediocre. We tried the pineapple fritters. If you have an aversion to spicy hot, don't order these. It wasn't mentioned on the menu. The shrimp jalepeno popper were okay, oddly milder than... More

My wife and I found out about the Kona Beach Cafe through another website that claimed this restaurant is dog friendly. We stopped here around 7pm on Saturday night. They were a little busy but not too bad - at least from surveying the restaurant. When I approached the greeter about a "dog friendly" table, the young boy basically gave... More

I don't see why people like this place. I live close and I would rather eat elsewhere. The food is okay at best. Service was slow. I try places a few times before bashing them. I did my best to be positive and be optimistic. Nothing changed. Won't be going back. Here is another reason on why I won't be... More

Jeff, This is the 3rd bad review you've posted. I'm sorry that we didn't hire your son as a musician, we liked his band, but he was too expensive. To keep trashing us is ridiculous. We only respond to reviews that are inaccurate, such as not liking menu items that we don't even offer. More

Kona Beach Cafe did it again! This place is a must for us every time we're in Jensen Beach. The fish tacos are always great & the servers are fun & attentive (Laura did a great job last night with our group of 19!) Don't look for something quick, but why be in a hurry to hang out among the... More

Ate there with friends just prior to their closing time in December and the waitress was chatting on the phone and not paying much attention to our questions about the menu. The food was decent, a pasta/seafood mix, but the place really is a dive and some of the locals hang there with whom you really wouldn't want to meet... More

So let me get this straight - you just now remembered that you ate at Kona in December? You obviously forgot what we serve, since pasta/seafood is not on our menu, nor has it ever been on our menu. Regarding our customers, we have a wonderful mix of retirees, young families, friendly fishermen, motorcycle enthusiasts, beachgoers and singles of all... More
