My wife and I discovered this little gem 2 years ago when we spent the month of April in Jensen Beach. We came back this year and enjoyed the food and wait staff and lovely bar servers along with the friendly owners. We have purchased a condo in Jensen Beach and plan to be at the Kona Beach Cafe at... After this experience, we recommend anywhere else in town! We have eaten here before, but this time was embarrassing. We brought friends who had never eaten here, but driven by a hundred times. The waitress was very polite but very slow, slow, slow. Less than 50% seats taken. The solo guitar player is the only reason we stayed after waiting... More

Wow. I'm surprised that you would bother coming back when your other 2 reviews of Kona were bad. Guess you just like to suffer so you can trash us. Hopefully this will be your last visit. More

We only recently heard about this great place. We dropped by on a Friday night. Business was brisk but we soon found a place to land and spent the next several hours soaking up the drinks, snacks, dinner, music and chatter. Prices were very reasonable and the food was great. Some of the sauces missed their mark for us but... More

The owners are very nice and the food and settings are great. This is my favorite place to eat and I would recommend it to all. They have a staff that is very friendly and the food is very tasty.

Friends had recommended this restaurant for its great fish tacos. Yes, they are tasty.....but they are very pricey when one considers the ambience (or lack of), the plastic ware and the somewhat spotty service. There is live music but we kept hoping the musician would take a break. Rather disappointing all in all.

Live in the area and have driven by many times and was not aware of this jewel under the hammock. Atmosphere is awesome and I can imagine it must be SRO on a Friday or Saturday night. The food was very good, moderately priced, and a very relaxing dining experience. Waitress was attentive and cordial making for a pleasant Sunday... More

Nothing but net! The food, atmosphere & staff were all top notch. Love the outdoor dining experience with shade cover & fans. This place is a little piece of heaven. Our food did take a little longer to get to the table, with the explanation that the chef was recooking a burger which he thought was over cooked. I appreciated... More

Service was great; food was questionable. Cold Bush's baked beans out of the can. Mac n cheese was so cold that cheese never melted on top. It was truly a warped version of "homemade". Pork was good and tasty. I left disappointed and hungry.

Tonight my wife and i decided to try this cute lil place we pass every time we return from the beach. The atmosphere was nice and we thought this place seemed very nice. When we looked at the menu items they looked a lil overpriced for what they were, but we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the... More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that we didn't measure up to Wendy's in your opinion. Our sauces are all homemade with the exception of the Louisiana Remoulade sauce that we top our pineapple fritters with - and our shrimp curry tacos, completely homemade, are one of our most raved about dishes. Perhaps you should stick with Wendy's. More
