While vacationing in Hutchison Island, my family was looking for another restaurant to try. We settled on Kona. Upon entering, we were told to seat ourselves. There were plenty of open tables, but none that seated 7. We asked a waitress if they could accommodate us and she shrugged her shoulders and seemed annoyed that we were breaking the "seat... More

I'm sorry that you were offended by our relaxed "seat yourself" policy. Most of our customers like to decide where to sit as we have several different areas: our front bar and deck under the authentic Seminole-built tiki hut, our nonsmoking covered courtyard near our entertainment, and our Outback with it's tropical plants and rustic bar. We do allow smoking... More

Food is awesome. Plenty of unique beer choices. Acoustic music on the weekends. A great place to have dinner and unwind.

All seating and dinning is outside. Most of it is covered, so rain never really hurt the experience any. The menu has assorted foods, such as fish dip, nachos, local fish dishes, and a lot of usual things that would go nicely with cold beer, and good live music. You could look up the menu online if that is your... More

Right when you walk in the atmosphere is very open and friendly! As for the food, it was delicious, and they had many different options.

We had a great time at Kona! The staff were so nice and the owner (we think it was the owner anyway!) just walks around and chats with everyone-so nice! The food was good and the atmosphere was fun! We had hot dogs and were happy with everything. We would definitely return here again!

Kona beach cafe is a roadside or should I say outside railroad track side restaurant, the food is the average Sisco or Chaney brothers "fresh" frozen seafood. If you want fresh seafood and reasonable priced drinks with great views then visit the Dolphin bar and restaurant located nearby on the Indian River, it never disappoints. The only positive thing I... More

I wonder if you actually came here, as we do not serve some of the items you gave a bad review to. We are not located on a railroad track - we are on Pineapple Avenue, and have a very tropical outback bar, which you apparently never visited. I am offended by your reference to rodent droppings - although we... More

Went to dinner on vacation. We had little dog with us. Waitress offered water for him. Fish tacos were fabulous. Pineapple fritters were flavorful but wet inside. Service was slower than expected with only 3 tables on front patio, not sure what else waitress had going on. Relaxed atmosphere.

This may be the most authentic fish restaurant in Jensen beach. I have only eaten here once as the atmosphere is primitive at best. Poor lighting and all outdoor seating under a roof. Cheaper than Dolphin and New England Fish Market.
