met a couple of old friends for some margaritas and appetizers and to share some old times and good stories. Some of the best frozen margaritas around this town. I will be back!

Left IPhone on table. Went back to get it and they said they didn't have it! I WILL NEVER, EVER, GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! Waitress left the restaurant after taking our order! We saw her driving back as we were leaving! Horrible service. Sad, because we went quite a bit. Specially when freinds would visit.

When I go to a Mexican restaurant that calls itself "authentic" and I see chilaquiles on the menu I know I'm in the right place. Hot chips and zesty salsa are complimentary. Margaritas are on target and 16 oz domestic beers are $2.00 ($3.00 for imports) all the time. Besides the chilaquiles I've been impressed with carnitas, carne asada and... More

Nothing particularly special but was good. The prices were reasonable which was nice. Some of the items were unimpressive, but overall it was OK.

After a long visit at the nearby hospital we visited La Nopalera. We didn't expect much but were pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and properly attentive. The food was good and the portions were enormous. Go hungry and you will still get a doggy bag. We will be back.

Went with a friend after a ride to the beach. I have been here many times, it was my friend's first visit. As usual the service was fast and friendly. Your butt hits the seat and there are hot chips and salsa on the table like magic! The portions at this place are huge! No way either of us could... More

Jax Beach has several Mexican restaurants. La Nopalera is one of the better ones. Good food and pleasant staff. Convenient location on 3rd Avenue.

Abundant portions and lighning-fast service. The carry-out is quick as well. This is my "go to" place for Mexican. Try the chimichangas, you will not be disappointed.

Ill begin by saying that there are better La Nop locations, Oakleaf and Gainesville come to mind; however, the La Nop as an institution has the best chips and salsa I've tried anywhere (when the chips are fresh). Do yourself a favor and order the queso dip as well. As for entrees, the menu is standard and the food tastes... More

Came into town and wanted good Mexican. Took a shot in the dark on this place and was pleasantly surprised. Food was good and came out real fast. Good chips and salsa. Decor is very traditional. I hate going into a Mexican place that looks like it was a Denny's the week before and they just changed the menu.
