Not a Diner as you'd expect!

Wanted to have a burger in a real diner, but found a Greek "inspired" menu instead. Ordered a Greek combi platter with the hope to experience some real Greek food, but got a huge gyro platter without real meat but some ground stuff instead. Ribeye we ordered was OK and waitress worked very hard to... read more

We're snowbirds, and the waitress remembered our order. Amazing, since the last time we saw her was 9 months ago. The grits are especially good, love the cream that they add while the grits are cooking. The owners and wait staff are very friendly, and there is always a line after church on Sunday. Fortunately, people are seated quickly. Fabulous... More

This looked like maybe it was going to be a fun quirky diner. Wrong. It's run down, the workers look like they've never been happy a day in their life. Seriously just a bunch of sad people serving sad food in a sad diner. Food was greasy and not flavorful. Just skip it.

Went this morning after getting snubbed and ignored at the loving cup hash house across the street. Was pleasantly surprised by a great breakfast with a server that seemed genuinely happy to serve us. Good value, good food.

We love George and his staff! Huge menu with anything you could possibly think of. Massive portions. Excellent Greek food items. Fantastic fresh, house made desserts. We've been dozens of times and never regret it! Classic NY diner! Ask for Shelly- she's the best server and will entertain you randomly with different accents.

Met friends who live here today for lunch. They picked the place and boy was it good. Wife had shrimp and authentic Greek salad and I had a Reuben sandwich. Everything was excellent including service. They are "regulars" here so all the staff and owner knew them by name.

Third Street Diner is a unique experience. It is a real, old time, diner. The food is terrific and fairly prices. Service is good. They in some ways seem more like a deli, especially their deserts. Definitely a place to try.

Went to Third Street Dimer for breakfast today. The diner from the road looks cool, but as you walk inside it looks old, unclean, and in much need of some updating. A refrigerated showcase by the register probably has some desserts in it but you can't tell as it was foggy and you couldn't see in. Were seated quickly. We... More
