I live at Jax Beach and eat at Salt Life frequently. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is freash and the service is always friendly. The Poke bowl and the Shack fish are my favorites

The overall experience was poor. The waitress seemed too busy. Our food took nearly 45 minutes with no explanation or apology. When it arrived some meals were no longer warm. We expected more

We were looking for a local restaurant for lunch prior to attending a business conference. Our hotel staff recommended this place. Cute and decorated like you expect a beach house. Decent offerings, pretty mainstream and what you would expect from a restaurant located near a beach. That being said, our food was good. The guacamole was very, very good! The... More

They have a great range of seafood on offer and everything I had was cooked well and tasted great. Service was excellent and our meals came out quickly and hot.

I had the fish sandwich and my husband had the fish tacos. Both were amazing! Nice, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Discovered one was being opened in St Augustine Beach soon so decided to try Jax Beach. Food was edible but not excellent. Conch chowder tasted like it came out of a can. No flavor at all. I had Ahi tuna salad and there was a tuna burger ordered. It was over cooked and tasteless..the salad was much tastier than burger.... More

Stopped by yesterday but I was hesitant about the prices from the outside. I thought that any place with valley parking was going to be too expensive. What a great surprise when I walked in. The staff was really friendly, great outdoor or indoor seating and the atmosphere was really fun. The prices are well within a reasonable limit and... More

Stopped in here hoping to get some good fresh seafood. What I got was the best fish tacos I'd ever had. I got one of each (wood grilled mahi and fried fish) and they were both phenomenal. I also had the guacamole appetizer which was also amazing. Highly recommend!

We enjoy the mahi at this location and have really never had a bad meal. However, sitting outside is a gamble since they allow smoking outside. Most unpleasant to those who would like to enjoy a meal w/out the smell of cigarette smoke filling their lungs. Inside is so loud you can barely hold a conversation . .even at lunch... More

I was in town for a family wedding. A number of us arrived Thursday night and were looking for someplace to eat with a variety of food, within walking distance of our hotel. This fit the bill...great service and good food!
