All lightly battered and fried to perfection. All sides and sauces are made at A La Carte, none of that store bought stuff. Plus, we have delicious Lump Crab Cakes Sandwich and Combination Platters of above Seafood items. For the non-seafood eaters we also have a New England Cranberry Chicken Salad, chef delicious Meatloaf Sandwich, Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, jumbo dipped and grilled Hot Dog on Split top bun. We also offer Catering for off premise events. That menu is completely different than our Lunch menu we serve. We hope you come visit and enjoy a bit of delicious food, great atmosphere and sit on our colorful picnic tables or eat inside at out checkered cloth tables. It's a total family affair so come and be a part of our family at A La Carte.

Great New England lunch

I had heard so much about this special restaurant. Finally got there to try the lobster roll and clam chowder. Both excellent. Very cozy, friendly with a definite Jax Beach vibe. The owners do it all, with lots of take home frozen goodies. They only serve lunch so go early. I would highly recommend... read more

Our small family of five arrived for lunch to find a neat looking little restaurant. We were drawn here by the TripAdvisor reviews but were quickly disappointed. While we waited to be seated, the only occupied table was served two dishes. The customer politely said "this isn't what I ordered." The lady that served them shocked all of us by... More

Sorry we could not accomidate your group in our small dining area of our cottage. We are a small mom and pop business with just my husband and I doing everything during our lunch hours. It's to difficult as I explained to you to put two tables together to seat your group. We do have outdoor seating on our picnic... More

Found this place on TA and we were not disappointed. This is owned and operated by a husband and wife team and they bring all of their seafood in fresh from Maine. You can tell it in the taste and quality. I was very impressed with the Clam Chowdah, it was the best I have had by far. It is... More

After seeing them on a local Morning Show, I thought I would give them a try. Ate lunch here today. We were greeted by lovely woman and her husband who own the place. We ordered the chowdah and split a Lobster Roll and also ordered the Shrimp which is local Mayport Shrimp. Best food ever. The chowder is filled with... More

Tried this based on the T/A ratings and we were so glad we did. My wife had their Lobster Roll and I had their Haddock sandwich with an assortment of sides. Both were extraordinary and servings were large. It's only open for lunch; no alcoholic beverages, and it's very casual, but if you are looking for wonderful seafood - look... More

Enjoyed Chef Rogers lobster rolls and fried clams. I worked next door and they would walk the order over to me. The lobster roll was always packed with a tremendous amount of fresh lobster meat, The fried clams were fried but not greasy at all. I became addicted to the Bluberry soda to wash down the New England food. Don't... More

We've been back many times. The food is authentic New England seafood. I always get the lobster roll and my husband gets to whole belly fried clams. Thumbs up for both. The cottage is adorable and loaded with lots of memorabilia. On a nice day, the deck is perfect. There are entrees available to take home like lobster mac and... More
