All lightly battered and fried to perfection. All sides and sauces are made at A La Carte, none of that store bought stuff. Plus, we have delicious Lump Crab Cakes Sandwich and Combination Platters of above Seafood items. For the non-seafood eaters we also have a New England Cranberry Chicken Salad, chef delicious Meatloaf Sandwich, Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, jumbo dipped and grilled Hot Dog on Split top bun. Our quaint facility has walls lined with Boston Bean Town Sport memorability to look at . GEE! I almost forgot we serve "Moxie" and have a small area of wonderful mini museum of Moxie artifacts to look at. A La Carte is a classic mom and pop run facility that you don't see anymore. We also offer Catering for off premise events. That menu is completely different than our Lunch menu we serve. We hope you come visit and enjoy a bit of delicious food, great atmosphere and sit on our colorful picnic tables or eat inside at out checkered cloth tables. It's a total family affair so come and be a part of our family at A La Carte.

WOW!!! What a pleasant surprise. Visiting daughter & son-in-law Here from No VA. Went online & found this gem. Tried it & was totally blown away with both the food & hospitality. Was in MA & NH for 13 days just 2 mos ago & the food here is every bit as good or better than many rest up there.... More

I can't believe I had never heard of this place! Had a wonderful lunch today. The place is small and quaint. Very clean and pleasant. You feel like you are in New England! Lobster Rolls are fantastic! They fly the lobster in from up north. The roll was grilled and filled with lots of tasty lobster. The shrimp basket is... More

We found this on TripAdvisor. A real gem. Great clam chowder and lobster rolls. A real New England feel. Only issue was all the Red Sox stuff.

I can't say enough about this cute little lunch spot. I'm a true New Englander and let me tell you, coming to A La Carte is like I'm at home except without the snow.....lol. The whole belly clams are my favorite and probably the best I've ever had. My compliments to Chef Roger and Chef Jenifer for having a Gem... More

We had gone on Wednesday to this quaint lil house surviving in the middle of all of the modern beach condos and hotels and found it closed. On Thursday we decided to go again and were glad we did. We got there at 11:15 and they and opened but we were the first customers and was warmly greeted by the... More

Went because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. The lobster rolls were the best we have had outside of Maine. The owner/chef also gave me 3 whole clams since I had never had them and they were also delicious. My son and I were also excited to find Capt'n Eli's Blueberry Pop in their drink offerings. We haven't... More

Very small and easily missed. We had whole belly fried clams and they were fantastic. Very hard to find anywhere but New England. Place was clean with about 6 tables. Wife waits tables and cashiers and husband cooks. Very homey and they were very friendly and helpful. The lobster rolls are to die for.

We stopped here based on Trip Advisor recommendations. Boy, are we glad! The owner, Jennifer, was so sweet and took the time to explain the entire menu to us. We had the lobster roll and fried Mayport shrimp. I thought I had had the best lobster rolls before when I was in Maine, but this was even better! It had... More

Being a former resident of Cape Cod, I know good seafood and this is the place for it! Best fried clams south of Boston. Jennifer makes you feel like family visiting for dinner.

Great for lunch, food was outstanding but a bit pricey and no wine or beer. Scallops and Cams, fresh and lightly battered. Lobster roll very good. A true Mom and Pop operation. She's up front he's the chef.
