Wife and I decided to try Beachside Seafood due to its close proximity to our hotel. For one thing its not exactly beach side. 2nd, although I enjoy a salty atmosphere. This place is dingy. As for the service and food. Waitress was pleasant and prompt but she failed to inform us of the Daily Black Board Specials. I am... More

Family of four enjoyed a variety of shrimp dishes - grilled, blackened, and fried. All dinner plates offered salad, a dozen or so nice shrimp, baked potato, and hush puppies. We had plenty of food and tea or soda with tip for a little over $100. The place is plain and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, but... More

My wife and I enjoyed an incredible lunch today. She had the fish sandwich and I had the shrimp basket. Sandra was incredible and VERY friendly!

I came with my family and drove 40 minutes from St. Augustine, Fl. To eat there. I like to try local soups and cuisine, so I got the lobs dry bisque as I'd eaten crab bisque the day before. IT TASTED AND LOOKED LIKE CAMPBELL'S CREAMY TOMATO SOUP. If you're thinking about going to this restaurant, don't get this item... More

Great staff, and great food! The blackened mayport shrimp was awesome, as well as the blackened Mani sandwich. For appetizer the fried pickles were awesome, and so were the hushpuppies, and corn nuggets.

Very casual. I couldn't make the stairway to the restaurant so they served me at the table and the food, though very casually displayed and served was VERY tasty. Seafood burrito was one I shall remember forever it was our favorite! Recommend for a casual dining experience.

The food was better than poor but less than average. It lacked seasoning and tasted more of oil (fried fish) than of fresh fish. The scallops were small and tasted of mostly breading. The dining area has a beachie feel (picnic tables, screened in porch deck on 2nd floor, NO A/C). The staff was friendly. Since there are tons of... More

This is as fresh as it gets! The lobster bisque, fish strip basket and mahi mahi were all tasty. The wait staff were busy but organized on a Saturday night. The fresh fish market downstairs was fun to walk through though we didn't buy anything.
