This is in a strip center but they make the biggest best freshest burgers. They have a contest with pictures on the wall for how fast you can eat a certain size burger. There onion rings are great.

I've lived 2 minutes from Col Mustard's for a while now, but yesterday was actually my first time here. It's not much to look at from the outside. The storefront has a neon open sign and a flashing "hot coffee" sign that you'd expect to see outside of a Kangaroo gas station - the glass door proudly displays posters and... More

I reside in Orange Park, FL. For the past year or so, I’ve been driving from Orange Park, FL to Jacksonville Beach, FL about two to three times a month just to eat at Col. Mustard’s Phat Burgers. Why? Growing up in the US, one of my favorite foods as a kid has always been the hamburger. When I first... More

I have eaten a lot of gourmet and specialty burgers over many years of traveling and this place is near the bottom. Though almost all burgers are around $6, they are greatly lacking originality. The basic burgers are a half pound precooked weight but after that - they leave me flat. Not much to talk about. I had the Volunteer... More

Col. Mustard's is an interesting place. The portions, both breakfast and lunch, are huge and their food is good. However, it is very tough to give anything more than three stars to a restaurant like this, because it is an average diner, after all. The staff is friendly, the wait is usually not long, and this is definitely not the... More

This place is always good. The burgers are awesome. The chef salad is fantastic even though you wouldn't normally think of getting that at a burger place - try it!

I have been wanting to try Col Mustard's Phabulous Phat Burgers for a while, so I was super excited when it came up on Groupon! The hubby and I went down there one afternoon for lunch. I am a big fan of egg burgers, so I was very happy to see that they had one on the menu. I didn't... More

Had passed this location several times and thought "what a dive in a strip center." Then went in search of the area's best burger. After doing an internet search, Mustard came up as rated at the top. Gave it a try. We took a few minutes with the menu as it offers several options. But the staff was very helpful... More

I have been counting down the days until this place opened (corner of Philips and Baymeadows). I've heard they are delicious and couldn't wait. What a disappointment right from the start... Never mind the lack of clean tables and the shabby sign stating the establishment is currently closed on weekends. Never mind the smell of turpentine or paint. It's a... More
