NOT the original Colonel

Could not wait for this place to come back to Baymeadows. What a bummer. Our beloved Colonel sold the biz but apparently not his quality. Yuck! Total chaos at the counter and dining room ( which was cramped and dirty), nobody had a clue what they were doing. Both of our orders were completely wrong... read more

Lots of burger options in jax beach, none can beat Col. mustards. The original and still the best. Burgers made to order, awesome sides, and so many choices. You'll be happy happy.

Had the Jaguar Special, exchanged the swiss for nacho cheese. WOW. A tasty fresh messy BIG burger. My friend had the the Mustard Special. He could could anything wrong with it. They both were cooked the way we asked. I used about 10 napkins to clean up. You really cant go wrong with the burgers and friendly service. The atmosphere... More

There burgers are pretty good sized and the food is good. The restaurant is not fancy in fact they have peoples pictures and info up around the walls for people who ate the various burgers in less than 15 minutes I believe. I think as long as you got a triple burger or bigger you are eligible to be on... More

This is in a strip center but they make the biggest best freshest burgers. They have a contest with pictures on the wall for how fast you can eat a certain size burger. There onion rings are great.

I've lived 2 minutes from Col Mustard's for a while now, but yesterday was actually my first time here. It's not much to look at from the outside. The storefront has a neon open sign and a flashing "hot coffee" sign that you'd expect to see outside of a Kangaroo gas station - the glass door proudly displays posters and... More

I reside in Orange Park, FL. For the past year or so, I’ve been driving from Orange Park, FL to Jacksonville Beach, FL about two to three times a month just to eat at Col. Mustard’s Phat Burgers. Why? Growing up in the US, one of my favorite foods as a kid has always been the hamburger. When I first... More

I have eaten a lot of gourmet and specialty burgers over many years of traveling and this place is near the bottom. Though almost all burgers are around $6, they are greatly lacking originality. The basic burgers are a half pound precooked weight but after that - they leave me flat. Not much to talk about. I had the Volunteer... More

Col. Mustard's is an interesting place. The portions, both breakfast and lunch, are huge and their food is good. However, it is very tough to give anything more than three stars to a restaurant like this, because it is an average diner, after all. The staff is friendly, the wait is usually not long, and this is definitely not the... More
